A confusing vision of Rahul Gandhi

By Tavleen Singh Let me begin by admitting that I wish I did not have to analyse Rahul Gandhi's first major address to the nation. It feels too much like kicking a helpless puppy. But, just as it would be impossible for a film critic to ignore Shah Rukh Khan's latest film, it is impossible for a political columnist to ignore the first speech made by a man who has been the designated heir of the Gandhi dynasty ever since he entered politics nearly a decade ago. Rahul Gandhi said last week that his 'DNA' was his reason for being in politics. I understood this to mean that he may never have been in politics if it had not been his unfortunate lot to take care of the family business. Lately, since he was appointed vice-president of the Congress party, Rahul has seemed to change from being a very reluctant prince to a much less reluctant future prime minister. Even then, from the moment Rahul took centre stage at last week's CII meeti

India is a major money launderer : U.S. report

Shame on the Indian politicians who have brought our country to such low levels so that outsiders can criticise us in such way ! O Indians, please remember that the establishment of Hindu Rashtra having righteous and patriotic rulers is the only solution to all such problems !  - Editor By Abhinandan Mishra, New Delhi India is one of the "major money laundering countries" in the world, according to a report prepared by the US Department of State. The report, International Narcotics Control Strategy (INCSR) 2013, which was submitted last month, says that despite taking measures such as bringing amendments in Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), concerns exist about curbing hawala activities in India. The other countries listed include Afghanistan, Pakistan, Israel, Italy, Hong Kong, Russia, UK and US, among others. According to the report, "A money laundering country is defined by statute as one 'whose financial instituti

It’s time to dismiss Katju

By, Shri. Arun Ramteerthkar, senior journalist, Solapur Supreme Court’s verdict of film actor Sanjay Dutt being guilty of possessing AK- 47 rifle during Mumbai riots of 1993,  has been challenged, demanding pardon for Dutt by former judge and President of Press Council, Markandeya Katju. If a legal expert does not know that punishment given by Supreme Court has no pardon, it indicates grave ignorance of Katju. To appease Sanjay Dutt, who had connections with notorious criminals like Dawood Ibrahim, Tiger Memon etc., is a kind of treason. This is whipping of Katju for his anti-national mentality …. Katju, a person of mediocre intellect ! Just by sitting on the pinnacle of a palace, a crow cannot become an eagle. Similarly, a person reaching high post in his job, does not prove his intelligence and then the following generations keep on wondering as to how a person with such mediocre intellect could reach such high post. In the file of such persons w

local residents resort to indefinite ‘bandh’ Hindus’ temples are insecure in the regime of Congress ! This is the adverse period which Sanatan has been warning for past 14 years. Pune (Maharashtra) : Sacrilege of ‘Jagrut’ Dev-sthan of Shri Khandoba Dev at Jambut (Taluka Shirur, Dist. Pune) has come to light. The idol of Shri Khandoba Dev has been desecrated, a gold-plated sword has been stolen from the idol’s hand and cash has been stolen by breaking the donation box. It was observed in the morning of 6th April. The incident has created tension in Jambut village and all Hindus observed ‘bandh’ condemning the incident. The furious villagers have decided to continue ‘bandh’ till the culprit is nabbed. Police Inspector Ashok Kshirsagar visited the place of incident and appealed to local residents to remain calm. (Police appeal to Hindus to remain calm even after idol of their Deity is desecrated; but why don’t they promptly nab the culprits? Had such incident occurred

HJS effect : Indecent picture of Shri Durga Devi removed from exhibition

Hindus should offer gratitude at Shri Durge Devi’s feet for this success ! Anti-Hindu artist Eleena Banik behaves rudely with Sou. Varsha Thakar of HJS ! Mumbai : In an exhibition of paintings held at Jehangir Art Gallery, there were nude pictures of Shri Durga Devi. After protest made by Mrs. Varsha Thakar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), these paintings were removed. (Why powerful pro-Hindu organizations are unable to do what a small organization like HJS is doing? Since HJS activities have spiritual base, it is successful in its missions. Other pro-Hindu organizations should also have spiritual base for their activities. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) 1. On 6th April 2013, Sou. Varsha Thakar got news about nude pictures of Shri Durga Devi displayed at Jehangir Art Gallery so she visited the exhibition. She found two indecent nude pictures of Shri Durga Devi. She, therefore, asked artist Eleena Banik about those pictures when she said that she

Resolve made by 6500 Hindus in ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ held at Sawantwadi

Hindu Rashtra will have to be established to eliminate anti-nationals and anti-Hindus : Resolve made by devout Hindus Sawantwadi : Inauguration of the Sabha by lighting a Samai (an oil lamp) Sawantwadi (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) organized ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha (sabha)’ to create awareness amongst Hindus towards increasing attacks on Hindu Dharma, conversions of Hindus; oppression of Hindus to appease minorities demoralizing Hindus; slaughtering of cows revered by Hindus; efforts to eliminate Hindu Dharma through the medium of ‘love jihad’ etc. Such awareness was created by intense speeches of various eminent personalities. Owing to such awareness created by the speakers, 6500 devout Hindus who attended the ‘sabha’, made a resolve to establish Hindu Rashtra for elimination of anti-nationals and anti-Hindus; to stop attacks on Hindu Dharma; even if they have to sacrifice everything. HJS has so far organized more than 870 ‘Dharma

India can be revived if ‘Hindutva’ is voted with majority ! – Dr. Subramanian Swamy

Dr. Subramanian Swamy Pune (Maharashtra) : The present rulers lack patriotism and staunch Hinduism; therefore, the condition of India has become so bad. The Prime Minister has lot of power but due to the Ring - master (Sonia Gandhi), condition of Manmohan Singh is like that of a lion in a circus. If great power of Hindus is generated and brought together, it can cancel clause 370 related to Kashmir; there will be equal civil rights, conversions will stop and as a result, India will be revived; therefore, in the forthcoming elections, vote for those who protect rights of Hindus. The above appeal was made by Dr. Subramanian Swamy, the President of Janata Party. He was speaking in a program organized by ‘Shiva-Samartha Pratishthan’ on the occasion of ‘Shiva-jayanti’. On the first day of these celebrations, a play titled ‘Mrutyunjaya Amavasya’ was staged based on the life history of Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj.    Guiding statements from the speech of Sr

Peace TV of Zakir Naik is now facing ban in Bharat

Hate channels which are illegally down-linked and freely available to viewers near the India-Pakistan and north-eastern borders have become important weapons in the psychological war against India. The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has red flagged 24 “illegal” foreign channels for beaming anti-India programmes. The potential for mischief by these channels was serious enough for the government to concede in Parliament: “The content of some of these channels is not conducive to the security environment in the country and poses a potential security hazard.” The government has initiated steps to enhance the penal provisions for beaming such channels. Amendments to the Cable TV Act, which will include higher fines apart from the existing jail provisions, are ready to be introduced in Parliament. The government’s move to block the channels follows a spate of communal incidents in Uttar Pradesh, Hyderabad, Assam, Srinagar, Mumbai and other parts of India in recent months following mo
