Why do we fold hands while saying "Namasté"!

Why do we fold hands while saying "Namasté"! Please read and share...  The meaning of Namaste has a beautiful and powerful psycho-spiritual origin. “Namaste” is India’s most well known export to the western civilization. Namaste is a spiritual greeting of respect when you meet any spiritual teacher, fellow student or when greeting someone you honor. One translation is that it means, “I bow down  to the divinity within you”. When you honor the divine within another person at the same time you are honoring it within yourself. Namaste expresses the very essence of respect for all of the Presence of God within all of us. In truth, each of us is part of one big family. We come from the same source of life and return once we pass away from the physical body. Namaste helps to remind us of our common heritage while bringing to life the important need for respecting each other. The other important feature of reciting Namaste when you greet someone is the holding of the hands togeth...

Why do we ring the bell in temple?

Why do we ring the bell in temple? A Temple bell is another scientific phenomena; it is not just your ordinary metal. It is made of various metals including cadmium, lead, copper, zinc, nickel, chromium and. manganese. The proportion at which each one of them mixed is real science behind a bell. Each of these bells is made to produce such a distinct sound that it can create unity of your left and  right brain. The moment you ring that bell, bell produces sharp but lasting sound which lasts for minimum of seven seconds in echo mode good enough to touch your seven healing centers or chakras in your body. The moment bell sound happens your brain is emptied of all thoughts. Invariably you will enter state of Tran’s state where you are very receptive. This Trans state is the one with awareness. You are so occupied in mind that only way to awaken you is with a Shock! And trust me Bell works as Anti-dote to your mind. Before you enter temple – to awake you and prepare you for taste of ...

SWASTIKA EXPLAINED

SWASTIKA EXPLAINED :-  The Swastika is a holy sign and symbol from thousands of years ago. Practically, the only symbol that is more important in the Vedic tradition is the Sanskrit Om Symbol. It is an ancient symbol and has been found on sculptures from the early excavations of Mohenjo-Daro. "Beyond its certain presence in the "proto-writing" symbol systems emerging in the Neolithic period (9500 B C), nothing certain is known about the symbol's origin." Some historians also believe that ancient forts were built in the shape that closely resembled the Swastika for reasons of defense because it would be difficult for an enemy to invade all parts of a fort in this shape. Unfortunately, in the West, it has a negative connotation because of its use by the Nazis from 1935. At that time it was seen as a black cross on a white circle, and now, amongst some sections of society, it is viewed as a symbol that represents a radical perspective. But the real meaning of...

China’s ‘string of pearls’ network a major concern, Navy to devise response

The top brass of the Navy will meet in the commander’s conference in Delhi starting Tuesday to discuss and devise India’s response to the growing presence of Chinese maritime forces in the Indian Ocean. The Navy has been concerned over the increasing presence of Chinese Navy’s submarines and other warships in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR). In a recent report submitted to the Defence Ministry, the Integrated Defence Staff headquarters had informed the Government quoting the data by American agencies that 22 encounters of Chinese submarines have taken place outside its territorial waters in the IOR. China has also been successful in establishing its presence in ports around India including Chittagong in Bangladesh, Sittwe and Coco Island in Myanmar, Hambantota in Sri Lanka and Gwadar in Pakistan, which gives it capability to stay close to Indian waters from all sides in a ‘string of pearls,’ a line of ports from China to the Gulf that could facilitate expansion of t...

Maoist massacre in Chhattisgarh is a bitter lesson

The Congress which dominates the UPA coalition at the Centre, the rootless human rights group peopled by the likes of Binayak Sen and Arundhati Roy, and the Supreme Court which decided that the Salwa Judum campaign against the Maoist menace in Chhattisgarh was illegal, are collectively responsible for May 25 ambush in Bastar district, which claimed 27 lives.  Former Union Minister VC Shukla is still battling for his life in a Gurgaon hospital; another 30 persons were injured during the ambush. Senior Congress leader Mahendra Karma, a tribal who founded the Salwa Judum and was possibly the principal target of the attack, was among those killed when a convoy of party leaders was ambushed in the thick forests of Sukma. Several local Congress leaders were killed; the State unit chief and his son were abducted and found dead later.  Maoists are well entrenched in the Bastar jungles. In January 2013, Indian Air Force personnel trying to evacuate an i...

Hindus starved to death in J & K - American Think Tank

Wahabis use Nazi methods to kill infidels Not content with the complete uprootment and expulsion of Hindus and Sikhs from the Kashmir region the Wahabi regime of India ’s J&K State seems to have started exterminating the infidels by starving them to death exactly the same way as the Nazis used to get rid of the Jews. Diversity-USA, a National Democratic Think Tank in America , has strongly condemned this new callous and criminal trend emerging in the Muslim politics of the only Muslim majority state of India which is predominantly ruled by the Sunni Wahabis of the Kashmir Valley. The case in point is that of Shri Kamal Ji (35), a Kashmiri Hindu who was housed in government built Jagti Satellite Township (JST) by the authorities. The JST was established in the Jammu region, following the communal policies by the Indian and Kashmir Government’s, against the heavy opposition by all Hindu organizations. As it turned out JST might have been a pre-cur...
