Riot-hit Rohingya Muslims take refuge in Hyderabad

Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) : Looking at least 10 years older than his age, 27-year-old Mohammed Shaker can pass off as a north Indian settled in Hyderabad but for his broken Hindi. Shaker is actually a Rohingya Muslim who fled Myanmar for safety and sought refuge in Hyderabad four months ago to escape the sectarian violence and bloodshed that is rocking the Southeast Asian nation. Ask him how he landed in Hyderabad, and Shaker recalls his three-day long arduous journey on foot through a rough mountain terrain in the dead of the night to reach the Myanmar border from where he was made to board a boat run by smugglers to reach the Bangladesh border. Hours later, he reached the shore and was stowed in a truck to be finally dropped near the West Bengal border. And it took him 9 days to finally land in Hyderabad. There are many refugees like Shaker in Hyderabad. They have chilling stories to narrate about the ongoing sectarian violence in Myanmar. "Mu

Muslim radicals determined to grab Hindu property in Shantipur,West bengal

Hindus defending vigorously   HELP Your Dharma Brothers Shanitpur, West Bengal, is no naïve to rise of Islamic fundamentalism and in the recent years it went through lots of such assaults. There has not been any ending to such and the proliferation in anti-Hindu activities speaks on its own. On April 9, 2013 , Maniknagarpura, P.S. Shantipur, District: Nadia remained witness to a rabid onslaught of Muslim radicals to grab Hindu properties and a desperate Hindu defence to it. The crisis, it has been learnt, is not sudden but has been going on surreptitiously for years and it stems from the land (worth above 32 bighas) having both a Muslim burial ground and a vast area where Hindus have been living for decades, if not more. In 1992, a bitter clash regarding the same land took place between the two communities.  On the very day, April 9, 2013 , local Muslims were found (all of a sudden) to fence the vast land including the area

Indira Gandhi offered to share nuclear technology with Pak : WikiLeaks

New Delhi : US embassy cables released by WikiLeaks say that late former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had written to the then Pakistani Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in 1974 offering to share nuclear technology but only if proper conditions for trust were created. The offer was rejected by Bhutto. The cables also say Indira Gandhi was evasive about nuclear weaponisation. The cables quote her as saying, "If our scientists have the basic know-how, without which they couldn't have done this, then any government could have directed them to make a bomb if they had so desired." Another WikiLeaks cable also claims that AK Antony was "one of the only" leaders apart from Priyaranjan Dasmunsi who "flatly criticised" Sanjay Gandhi during 1976 AICC session in Guwahati during Emergency when the latter's political graph was on the rise. The cables, made public by Wikileaks, also said the party faction led by Antony,
