Dogs are Impure and Develish says Islam

It is not permissible for a Muslim to keep a dog, unless he needs this dog for hunting, guarding livestock or guarding crops.    You might be wondering from where did this come.... But no matter how wonder stuck you are or how many examples that might comes in your mind of people of muslim faith having Dogs  or how absurd it might sound to you, but this what is stated in their scripturerules: Al-Bukhaari (2145) narrated that Abu Hurayrah said:   “Whoever keeps a dog, a qiraat from his good deeds will be deducted every day, except a dog for farming or herding livestock.”  Muslim (2978) narrated from Abu Hurayrah said: “Whoever keeps a dog that is not a dog for hunting, herding livestock or farming, two qiraats will be deducted from his reward each day.”   Muslim (2943) narrated from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar said: “Whoever keeps a dog, except a dog for herding livestock or a dog for hunting, a qiraat will be deducted from his good deeds eac...

Why Hindus have many Devatas?

Akbar said to Birbal, “We Muslim’s have only Allah, Christians have Christ, Buddhists have Buddha. But you Hindus worship so many Gods. Why is it so?  Birbal said : ”God is one but His names are many.” Akbar: “How is it possible? How can God assume so many forms and yet only be one?” Birbal summoned a servant who was wearing a turban. He pointed to it and said: “What is that?” Servant said: “A turban” Birbal : “Untie it, roll it and tie it to your waist” When he had done so, Birbal asked, “ What is that?” Servant answered : “A kamarbhand” Birbal, turning to Akbar. “You have seen how the same cloth acquires different names when performing different functions. So also water can be a cloud when in sky; it is rain when it falls to earth; it is river when it flows, ice when it freezes. Similarly God is one but is called by different names by different people Moral We name things according to our own perceptions. It is important to bear in mind that the name is not the thing named. Ex-IPS officer: India wasn’t tracking jihadi before 26/11

NEW DELHI : Former IPS official M L Kumawat, who was special secretary (internal security) in the Union home ministry during the 26/11 attacks, has contested claims made in the foreign media that Indian intelligence agencies were tracking Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) communications head and 26/11 accused Zarar Shah, before the Mumbai attacks.  “The point made in the investigative report by New York Times, ProPublica and the PBS series ‘Frontline’ that Zarar Shah’s computer activity was under the surveillance of an Indian intelligence agency prior to 26/11 attacks, is not correct,” Kumawat told TOI on Tuesday. According to him, the only prior intelligence India had about the LeT’s plans to attack iconic buildings in Mumbai, including Taj hotel and Jewish facilities, was a US alert dated September 24. “It was forwarded to the Maharashtra government, which stepped up security at the identified targets but somehow failed to maintain the same until November,” said the official. ...

ISIS terrorism : India and threat of global jihad

The seizure of the Iraqi city of Mosul last week was terrorist in purpose but military in design. They were not there just to do random damage and prove their point. It was a well-strategised attack in which they robbed millions from banks, opened gates of prisons, burned vehicles, killed civilians and still earned greetings from a section of civilians. ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria), founded in 2006 under the name of ISI (Islamic State in Iraq), which overran towns and cities north and west of Baghdad over the past week is an unrecognised State and Jihadi militant group in Iraq and Syria influenced by the Wahabi movement. It was established in the early years of the Iraq war and pledged allegiance to Al-Qaeda in 2004. However, Al-Qaeda cut all ties with ISIS in February 2014, after a power struggle. ISIS has gone from strength to strength since 2006 by launching attacks with the strategy to seize resources like weapons, oil wells and money. Their aim is to erase...

Pagans Are Really Annoyed That ISIS Took The Name Of Their Goddess

The shock ubiquity of the terror group ISIS with its sudden takeover of swathes of Iraq has caused a bit of a branding problem. Isis, the ancient Egyptian goddess of nature and magic, has had her name appropriated for many products and places over the years, before the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant/Syria. This author once went to a student club night in a former strip called Isis in Nottingham, where double vodka and Red Bull was £1.50.  It has subsequently closed down , which would no doubt please its namesakes. Isis is also “ a world-leading centre for research in the physical and life sciences  at the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory near Oxford”,  a private equity company , and a  Bob Dylan tribute magazine. But no-one is more angry than the Pagan Federation. The Huffington Post UK received this angry letter from the society, asking we stop referring to the group by this acronym. Dear Sirs, We are writing to you on behalf of our members...

Bangladeshis in India sent back $6.6 billion last year, 6% of their homeland’s GDP

Bangladesh receives nearly half of its total remittances from India. Migrant workers from the impoverished South Asian country sent home $14 billion last year, according to the World Bank. Bangladeshi workers in India transferred more than $6.6 billion to their home country, making them the biggest source of remittances to Bangladesh. This is more than four times the money being sent from Saudi Arabia, the second-highest contributor. India is a preferred destination among Bangladeshi migrants because of the low cost of migration. “Migrants can avoid securing a plethora of documents including issuance of passports if they migrate to India,” says a study published by the  While there aren’t recent data available on the total number of Bangladeshis staying in India, we do know that nearly 500,000 visas were issued in 2012-13. Illegal immigration has become a hot-button issue in India. Prime minister Narendra Modi reiterated his strong stance against illegal immig...

Poll data shows large number of Muslims voted for Modi

The skepticism about the Muslim community’s reservations about voting for the BJP and its prime ministerial candidate  Narendra Modi  was laid to rest on Friday when the party went on win all the seven Lok Sabha constituencies of Delhi. Data released by the office of the Delhi chief electoral officer have indicated a reversal in the Muslim community’s support for the Aam Aadmi Party in the National Capital. In the Chandni Chowk parliamentary constituency, BJP candidate Harsh Vardhan trounced his AAP rival Ashutosh in Sadar Bazar by 17,623 votes. Likewise, in Ballimaran and Chandni Chowk too, the BJP candidate enjoyed a much larger vote share than Ashutosh. “There is no such thing that any community will be sidelined or marginalised if BJP is in power. We do not believe in such politics,” Harsh Vardhan said. While many spoke about Kapil Sibal continuing to enjoy the minority community’s faith, the poll results told a different tale. The two-time Congress MP, who h...
