Government clears counter-China move in Andamans

The prompt approval to set up a radar station on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands signalled the Modi government's intent to deal with China on its own terms. Rediff.com contributor Anita Katyal reports. In a decision which could impact relations between New Delhi and Beijing, India on Tuesday cleared a longstanding proposal from the Coast Guard to set up a radar station on Narcondam Island in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, located opposite the Coco Island where the Chinese are said to have set up a listening post. The decision comes a day after China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi left New Delhi following his 'useful and comprehensive' talks with the Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance government. The Coast Guard proposal had been pending for nearly a decade after environmental groups and wildlife activists raised objections that the project would cause irreparable damage to the habitat of the Narcondam Hornbill, a bird whose only home is the N...

When China will attack India, there will be anarchy!

Retd. Brigadier Hemant Mahajan explains about threat from China Hindu Rashtra is necessary to bring in strong Government that will teach a lesson to enemy country !   Ratnagiri (Maharashtra):  China has set up reconnaissance centres at Mohammad Bin Kasim port in Pakistan, Humbantota Port in Sri Lanka, Chilgan in Bangla Desh and at Myanmar. China has thus surrounded Bharat from all 4 sides. China intruded and crossed Indian border 6 times in last 3 months. China has constructed roads till Indian border and brought her troops. In a way, China has strangled India. Considering China’s movements, it seems quite certain that China is planning to attack India; but it cannot be said today as to when that is going to happen. When there is war, even Pakistan will be ready on the other side and naxalites will revolt in Central Maharashtra. There could be terrorism and anarchy. The above fear was expressed by retired Brigadier and renowned war analyst, Shri. Hemant Mahajan whe...

Kill 50 in Pakistan to avenge 5 Indian soldiers' deaths : Shiv Sena

O Indians, please note that spineless and inactive Indian government is not going to take any action against Pakistan. It will just send some 'peace messages' and mere 'warnings' to Pakistan, which was evident after beheading of Indian soldiers by coward Pakistani army. Only righteous and patriotic rulers like Shivaji Maharaj can give befitting reply to cunning enemy like Pakistan. To have such rulers, we have to establish Hindu Rashtra as early as possible ! - Editor New Delhi :  Reacting to the killing of five Indian soldiers by the Pakistani troops along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, Shiv Sena spokesman Sanjay Raut on Tuesday expressed outrage over the incident. Underlining the need to adopt a tougher stand while dealing with Pakistan after its repeated ceasefire violations, Raut said: "Till we (India) don't enter Pakistan and kill 50 of them for 5 of ours, they will not learn a lesson." Defence sources said the Pakistani soldi...

Chinese general warns India on border issue

Chinese general warns India on border issue:  China downplays - http://bit.ly/12770tT July 4: On the eve of Defence Minister AK Antony’s visit to Beijing, a Chinese general warned India on Thursday against stirring up fresh trouble in a long-running border dispute. But after allowing some ruckus and tensed moments, China downplayed its General’s ‘warning’ to India. But when on Thursday India raised the issue with China, the Dragon told the Elephant that it was “not reflective ” of the official view. Major General Luo, the deputy-director general of the World Military Research department at a PLA academy, who describes himself as a ‘reasonable hardliner’ had told India not to ‘stir up’ border trouble. “The Indian side should not provoke new problems and increase military deployment at the border areas and stir up new trouble,” Major General Luo Yuan said. HOW TO READ BAR CODES? An Information Must share

An Information Must share   HOW TO READ BAR CODES...  (everyone must know)   ALWAYS READ THE LABELS ON THE FOODS YOU BUY--NO MATTER WHAT THE FRONT OF THE BOX OR PACKAGE SAYS, TURN IT OVER AND READ THE BACK---CAREFULLY!  With all the food and pet products now coming from China, it is best to make sure you read label at the supermarket and especially when buying food products. Many products no longer show where they were made, only give where the distributor is located. The whole world is concerned about China-made "black-hearted goods". Can you differentiate which one is made in Taiwan or China ? The world is also concerned about GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) foods; steroid fed animals (ex: 45 days old broiler chicken). It is important to read the bar code to track its origin. How to read Bar Codes....interesting ! If the first 3 digits of the bar code are 690, 691 or 692, the product is MADE IN CHINA. 471 is Made in Taiwan . If the first 3 digits of the b...

India looking the wrong side!

China has the unpleasant habit to peep into everybody’s computers. In India, it is not a major issue as the nation is too busy trying to guess (if not bet on) the next move of the BCCI president. However, it does bother others. Quoting a new US report prepared by the Defence Science Board, Reuters recently mentioned Washington’s worries: “Chinese hackers have gained access to designs of more than two dozen major US weapons systems”. In Australia, the Chinese ‘dark visitors’ probably have done better: they are said to have stolen the blueprints of the country’s new intelligence headquarters. Quoting the US report, The Washington Post affirmed that the ‘hacked’ designs included advanced Patriot missile system, the Navy’s Aegis ballistic missile defence systems, the F/A-18 fighter jet, the V-22 Osprey, the Black Hawk helicopter and the F-35 strike fighter. Many rightly ask whether China really has the ability to bring down the communication networks and corrupt v...

China intrusion : Government is misleading people!

By Ravindra Narayan Ravi India by withdrawing its troops from Depsang Plains of Ladakh de-facto has conceded this territory to China. It needs certain special talents to interpret an ignominious defeat as a diplomatic victory, says Ravindra Narayan Ravi... It is over four weeks since the Chinese army intruded deep into the Depsang Plains of Ladakh, in the north-western sector of the India-China border, and the strategic community in India seems yet groping to make a sense of the aggression! Utterances of the Indian government officials over the issue have been deliberately misleading and those of commentators largely speculative. The government's unyielding reluctance to share the facts with the country is at the root of wild speculations. Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid first played down the aggression calling it a mere 'acne' and while recently in Beijing sought to further humour his host by not earnestly raising the issu...

China’s People’s Liberation Army soldiers camped in Raki Nullah in eastern Ladakh

According to assessments by senior government and intelligence officials China’s People’s Liberation Army soldiers camped in Raki Nullah in eastern Ladakh may never go back across the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Tonight is the 16th night since Chinese army intruded into a sovereign country India

Tonight is the 16th night since Chinese army intruded into a sovereign country India, and has setup tents to place its soldiers. But how is India reacting? 1) The youth are busy watching IPL and its cheerleaders. Tonight is the 24th IPL game since the enemy intrusion. Not a single protest march by India's 60 crore plus youth in any metro city over the past two weeks. 2) Sonia Gandhi, the chief o f ruling coalition, is busy getting 'charan sparsh' from a party sycophant in a remote location of South India. 3) Manmohan Singh, the supposed most powerful man in India, is busy telling lies about IT and industry to a bunch of village women in an nondescript village of Karnataka, on a rainy evening. Is this how a 21st century superpower dealing with enemy intrusion into its sovereign territory? Shame on yo u  @ Ignited Mind

China building road, rail lines on Indian territory; Government stays still

China’s dubious intentions were revealed yet again when reports claimed that it is building road and railway lines in Indian territory. According to a Times Now report China is building rail lines near the Burtse Post area. Members in the Lok Sabha on Monday voiced concern over intrusion by Chinese troops in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, with crucial UPA ally Samajwadi Party objecting to the upcoming visit of External Minister Salman Khurshid to Beijing. Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav took the lead in targeting the Government for “doing nothing” and alleged that it was acting in a “cowardly” manner in dealing with the intrusion. Describing China as the “biggest enemy”, the former Defence Minister said during Zero Hour, “We have been warning that China has started occupying our territory. But Government is not listening to all this.” He said the Indian Army has said it is ready to remove all intruders but there is no action. “This Government...

BORDER STANDOFF: Chinese troops have erected tents 19 km inside Indian territory: Govt

RED ALERT: Things are getting BAD to WORST BORDER STANDOFF: Chinese troops have erected tents 19 km inside Indian territory: Govt  NEW DELHI: The government on Friday told a parliamentary committee that Chinese troops have pitched tents 19km deep inside the Indian territory in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir and that efforts are underway to ensure that the status quo is maintained. Defence secretary Shashi Kant Sharma and some other senior officials informed the parliamentary standing committee on defence that India has deployed forces to "keep a close watch on the border", sources told . Sharma and other officials appeared before the committee after BJP members Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Prakash Javadekar wanted to know the actual ground situation in Depsang sector of Ladakh where the Chinese incursion took place in Daulat Beg Oldie area a week ago. We didn't provoke, says China on incursion

W e didn't provoke, says C hina on incursion S ticking to its stand that Chinese troops have not caused any "provocation" by violating the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, China today said the incident will not affect bilateral ties or disrupt peace at the borders as both sides are trying to resolve it in a friendly manner. "I do not agree with your allegation that it is the Chinese side that has caused the provocation between the border troops" Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying replying to questions about the intrusion of Chinese troops at the Depsang Valley in Ladakh. "China's troops have never crossed the (LAC) line. China and India are neighbours and the boundary is not demarcated yet. "It is inevitable for problems to prop up in border areas. When there is a problem it should be resolved through friendly consultations though existing mechanisms and channels", she said. "We believe this incident c...

So no surprise on rumors about 'Akash tablets' made from Chinese chips

Socialism is largely responsible for India's technical backwardness in area of chip manufacture. We lack the basic capabilities in the area ( So no surprise on rumors about 'Akash tablets' made from Chinese chips).  Let's try and see why is Walmart an American invasion while Intel was not. Walmart will disrupt the already set up Indian retail supply chain system by bringing its own money-pumped s upply sharks, devastating our retailers. Intel on other hand , was supposed to be venturing into an area where we had near zero expertise (Hardware Manufacture). Which meant technology transfers- that combined with our brilliant brains could have taken India to level where Japan is today (leaving China behind). But Alas, our socialists have to protest everything that's remotely American, without a considerate thought. Thanks to them, we're now ages behind china in chip manufacturing, and to confirm this fact all you need to do is look at your mobile phone.

China’s water war on India

By Claude Arpi As ‘emergent’ leaders returned from the BRICS meeting in South Africa, PTI reported that Manmohan Singh had ventured to ask the new Chinese President Xi Jinping to set up a joint mechanism for the dams being built on the Yarlung Tsangpo in Tibet (known downstream as Siang and Brahmaputra). According to PTI: “Notwithstanding pledges to take the bilateral relationship to a new level, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in his first meeting with new Chinese President Xi Jinping has sought a joint mechanism to assess the construction work on dams on Brahmaputra river in Tibet.” That sounds good, but is it enough? Talking to the journalists traveling with him in the plane, the Prime Minister explained, “I took the opportunity to raise the issue of trans-border river systems. I requested the Chinese Government to provide a joint mechanism to enable us to assess the type of construction activity that is going on in the Tibetan Autonomous Reg...
