Plastic bags are dangerous to all types of life

Plastic shopping bags pose an enormous impact on the environment and its inhabitants, when not recycled. Of all the pollutants our planet crosses daily, plastic bags should be considered lethal and banned. The issue is the fact when not recycled they end up in the throats & stomach of wildlife, clogging gutters and sewers, and floating in waterways. Plastic bags are dangerous to all types of sea l ife because they are flexible and shaped just right to trap an animal or get wrapped around an animal’s neck or fin. If the bag gets stuck over a creature’s head, it can suffocate or starve. Plastic bags pose a particular hazard to the environment when they make it into our oceans. Over 70% of the world is covered by water, and there are thousands upon thousands of miles of coastline where the bags can wash up. Once the bags are in the water, they aren’t easily biodegradable and can remain there for hundreds of years. In fact, they actually photodegrade, i.e., they break down into smal

Where Is Indian Media Sleeping Now ??

Where Is Indian Media Sleeping Now ?? Over 1500 Hindu Temples & Homes Damaged by Muslim Mobs in Bangladesh During January to March of 2013. (CHAKRA) Extremist Muslim mobs have attacked innocent Hindu temples, homes and shops of Hindus in four districts in Bangladesh. Since Jamaat leader Delawar Hossain Sayedee was handed down a death sentence for war crimes in February, dozens of hindu temples,  houses and shops of non-muslim minorities across the country have been vandalized torched and looted. Basudev Dhar, president of Greater Dhaka Puja Committee, yesterday said these communal attacks were demoralising many Hindu families. A local blogger published a picture of a 2 years old hindu boy chopped to death by Jamma-E- Islamic supporters at Noakhali in Bangladesh – see here. These terrifying events have been largely ignored by international news and media agencies. Bangladesh’s giant English news media – the Daily Star reported the following in an article called Hindus attacked

Do you know about the IMDT Act which gives protection to Bangladeshi infiltrators ?

In the year 1983, the Parliament had passed ‘Illegal Migrants’ Determination by Tribunal Act, 1983 ( IMTD )’. After a case fought  in Supreme Court, the Act was cancelled in the year 2005.   ‘Lok Jagaran Manch’ from Guwahati , the Capital of Assam , has prepared VCD on this act, the information made available in it, is given below. 1.  Anti-national Congress rulers passing Act by ignoring local Assamese population : In 1983 while passing IMDT Act, there was not a single person in the Parliament who would represent Assam. Under this Act, Bangladeshi illegal infiltrators were given all facilities to settle in Assam. Advocate 'Abdul Muhib Mazumdar', MLA from Assam had prepared the draft of this Act. (Anti-national Fanatics help Bangladeshi infiltrators abd such Fanatics are protected by Congress Rulers; therefore, they are daring to indulge in anti-national activities. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) 2. 'Cancel anti-superstitions Act as it attacks religious customs and Hindu traditions'

Mumbai : The proposed anti-superstitions Act is against religious  customs and traditions of Hindus. All pro-Hindu organizations and Warakari Sampradaya are against this Act; therefore, such anti-Dharma Act should be cancelled. A representation to the above effect was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Minister for Social Justice, Shivajirao Moghe on Friday during ‘Janata Darbar’ held at Congress Party’s office. Shri. Shivaji Vatkar, the Mumbai District Coordinator of HJS and Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, its Maharashtra State Coordinator were present on the occasion. Shri. Vatkar said, ‘On one hand, the Government extends invitation to only Shyam Manav and Dr. Narendra Dabholkar; but despite giving representations to the Government for holding discussions with Warakari Sampradaya and various pro-Hindu organizations on this Act; the Government has not invited them even once. This has created strong displeasure amongst those organizations and Warakari Sampradaya.

Mumbai High Court raps ‘Sai Sansthan’ to provide proper facilities to devotees

Shirdi (Maharashtra) : Considering the inconceniences faced by devotees, Sambhajinagar Bench of Mumbai High Court has ordered Sai Mandir Sansthan to provide all amenities to them. Orders to provide free food, set up ‘Gou-shala’, set up project for providing pure drinking water, start printing press etc. were also given by the Court. Shri. Rajendra Gondkar and Sandip Kulkarni, residents of Shirdi had filed PIL to solve problems faced by devotees visiting Sai Mandir to have ‘darshan’. (Due to  of temples, the famous temples of Hindus have become grazing grounds of corrupt politicians. Congress Govt. has taken over these temples to loot all the money donated with great devotion by religious Hindus; therefore, they have no time to pay attention to devotees. These rulers feel that devotees will bear all inconveniences without grumbling. In such situation, the orders given by the Court are inadequate. The Court should release all Hindu temples from the clutches of the Gove

Why do we need to save birds?

People talk about bird conservation. Wildlife researchers and scientists work on saving birds from getting into an extinction mode. ‘Why’ is the question which largely remains unanswered to common people. Birds are the greatest indicators of climate change. Their behaviour and disappearance can help us in evaluating the dangers to the environment. This cannot be don e by humans. That is a reason why birds were increasingly used in science and still being used. Insect outbreaks are reduced with the existence of birds. This is true with respect to maintain the insect population in forest and the urban habitat. Some birds are important pollinators. Not all trees can be planted by humans and they will sprout only if dispersed by birds. Larger birds like crows and eagles help keep the environment clean of dead carcasses and rodents. Apart from these examples, there are many more reasons as to why they are an important part of the ecology. Let us save the birds before we come to a stage w

Home ministry to push ahead anti-Hindu 'Communal Violence Bill'

New Delhi : The Home Ministry has decided to push ahead the  controversial Communal Violence Bill which aims to check targeted violence against the minorities. The Ministry has submitted their draft of the bill to the Law Ministry for legal vetting. A government source said there is an urgency now to bring the bill for Cabinet approval and introduce it in Parliament soon in an effort to get it passed in the tenure of UPA-2. This is especially because a draft of the proposed legislation was drawn up by the Sonia Gandhi-headed National Advisory Council (NAC) way back on July 25, 2011 and submitted for the Home Ministry's consideration. The Home Ministry has finally completed its deliberations on the proposed legislation and has submitted their draft bill to the Law Ministry. A source said the Ministry draft "largely sticks" to the provisions in the 'Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence (Access to Justice and Reparations) Bill, 2011' prepa

Govt. should not try Warakaris’ patience ! – H. B. P. Prakash Maharaj Javanjal

15000 Warkaris unite in Paithan Convention ! Main demands of Warkaris : Stringent action to be taken against those burning ‘Tukaram Gaatha’ Implement Act banning cow-slaughter ! Anti-superstitions Bill not required ! Sri-Kshetra Paithan (Maharashtra) : Stringent action has not been taken against those burning Saint Tukaram’s ‘Gaatha’; no amenities have been provided to Warkaris at Paithan; moreover, roads have been dug up just 15 days before ‘Sri Eknath-Shashti’. The Government says that anti-superstitions Bill would not be passed without taking Warkaris into confidence; but before that, it is preparing draft of the Bill with workers of ANiS. The Government has thus betrayed Warkaris. Warkaris strongly oppose this Bill and considering this, the Government should not pass this Bill. The Government should not try Warkaris’ patience ; else, Warkari Sampradaya will give an apt answer to all such attacks. The above warning was given by H. B. P. Praka

'CM should pay visit to Hindu organizations which are against the anti-superstitions Bill'

Mumbai : The proposed anti-superstitions Bill, that Maharashtra Government is trying to pass, will attack the foundation of Hindu Dharma. Many Warkaris and organizations have been fighting against this Act and they want to discuss, in detail, the proposed Act with the Chief Minister (CM).  CM, Pruthviraj Chavan should give them time for such discussions, was the demand made by Shri. Subhash Desai that ‘Maharashtra Warkari Prabodhan Samiti, Rashtreeya Warkari Sena and other organizations had staged agitations at Azad Maidan, Mumbai to protest against the proposed anti-superstitions Act when they gave representation of demands to many elected representatives; therefore, the CM can fix time and date for the meeting and inform me and the concerned. Total ‘Bandh’ observed in Murud to protest against non-action by police

Hindus should not keep quiet after observing ‘Bandh’; but they should force the Government and police to take action against fanatics ! Congress links Modi to death again, calls him Yamraj now

How Congress spokesperson can call Shri. Narendra Modi as the god of the death ? Has he forgot that after killing of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Congress workers wreaked havoc across the country and killed many brahmins and looted their belongings ? Why don't Mr. Alvi utter a word about brutal killings of thousands of Sikhs after the assassination of Indira Gandhi in 1984 ? - Editor New Delhi : Raking up the 2002 post-Godhra riots issue, Congress on Friday appeared to compare Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi with 'Yamraj', the lord of death in Hindu mythology. The party also said it feared the "consequences" if Modi was to become Prime Minister, a day after the chief minister made the strongest-ever indication of his prime ministerial ambitions. "Had he intended to indicate Narendra Modi he would not have referred to somebody riding a horse but somebody riding a buffalo (Yama's vehicle) ... Rahulji has talked

Shame on the Government which has forgotten the brutal killing of Indian soldiers and giving away visas to the citizens of enemy country like Pakistan ! Now it is high time for patriotic Indians to defeat this spineless and insane Govt. in forthcoming elections ! - Editor India has started issuing visas on arrival for senior Pakistani citizens, a facility that was suspended following the brutal killing of two Indian soldiers along the LoC on January 8, which subsequent heightened tensions in bilateral relations. The facility was  supposed to begin from January 15 this year, as part of the new liberalised visa pact between the two countries. “We have launched visa on arrival facility to Pakistani senior citizens at the Attari Integrated Check Post from April 1,” a Home Ministry official said. However, no decision has been taken on the stalled group tourist visa facility to Pakistani nationals. The two countries had agreed to operationalise the

Hindu girl's stalker 'Anwar Khan' guns down her father

Khan shot him by entering professor’s house as also attacked his wife with knife and iron rod. Mrs. Dakhore has been seriously injured.
