In a shocking incident in West Bengal, Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers allegedly chopped off an ear of a panchayat employee after he failed to report to work on the first day of the Bharat bandh. The incident took place at Debipur in the Murshidabad district. Trinamool workers allegedly chop off panchayat employee's ear The victim was allegedly attacked by TMC workers when he reported for duty today. According to reports, on Wednesday, TMC workers, shouting slogans stormed the panchayat office in Debipur to take stock of which panchayat employees did not report for work. The victim, identified as Hazrat Mohammad, said he could not report for work as his house was far from the office and it was difficult for him to commute there, considering the bandh. Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : Sree Renuka Devi Temple was robbed during midnight of Wednesday. Unknown robbers broke open the cupboard kept in the temple and stole ornaments made from gold and silver besides cash of Rs. 10,000/- ; all loot worth Rs. 2.50 lakhs. A case has been reported to Rajarampuri Police Station. Local citizens are feeling very unsafe due to this incident.
