Demographic coup of Islam: Agony of Hindu Civilization

Demographic coup of Islam: Agony of Hindu Civilization -------------------------- -------------------------- ----------- India faces a major demographic upheaval. The sharply rising Muslim numbers, both in absolute and percentage terms, and a corresponding decline in the population of Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists has the potential to escalate fault-line conflicts and create a Lebanon-like sit uation. Data from the last six censuses held since 1951 suggests that in percentage terms there has been a relentless increase in the population of only one community, the Muslims; all other communities are in a declining mode. Since 1981, Muslim population growth has been in a fast forward mode, growing at almost 45% higher rate than Hindus and Christians. In terms of percentage, Sikh population has recorded the steepest decline since independence. Census 2001 put the decadal growth rate of Muslims at around 36%, while Hindu growth rate declined from 23% to 20%. On the eve of the Mah...

US Congress celebrates Diwali for the first time

The first ever Diwali festival was celebrated at the US Congress today amidst chanting of Vedic mantras by a Hindu priest. Over two dozen influential lawmakers along with eminent Indian-Americans gathered at the Capitol Hill to lit the traditional “diyas”. The event – the first of its kind event at the Capitol Hill – was organised by the two Co-Chairs of the Congressional Caucus on India and Indian Americans, Congressmen Joe Crowley and Peter Roskam in recognition of increasing presence of the Indian-American community. The occasion was also used to highlight significance of India-US relationship. “I have come here to say Happy Diwali,” said Nancy Pelosi, Leader of the Democratic Party in the House of Representatives. “United States owes a great debt of gratitude to India. Because our civil rights movement was built on the non-violent movement in India. Martin Luther King studied there, spoke there. We are blessed not only by that legacy, but also by the presence of so many...

Goddess Durga, The Mother Goddess & Her Symbolism

The Mother Goddess & Her Symbolism Goddess Durga is the mother of the universe and believed to be the power behind the work of creation, preservation, and destruction of the world. Since time immemorial she has been worshipped as the supreme power of the Supreme Being and has been mentioned in many scriptures - Yajur Veda, Vajasaneyi Samhita and Taittareya Brahman. The Meaning of "Durga" The word "Durga" in Sanskrit means a fort, or a place which is difficult to overrun. Another meaning of "Durga" is "Durgatinashini," which literally translates into "the one who eliminates sufferings." Thus, Hindus believe that goddess Durga protects her devotees from the evils of the world and at the same time removes their miseries. The Many Forms of Durga There are many incarnations of Durga: Kali, Bhagvati, Bhavani, Ambika, Lalita, Gauri, Kandalini, Java, Rajeswari, et al. Durga incarnated as the united power of all divine be...

WHY NARENDRA MODI CAN BE PM?

N arendra M odi’s re-induction into the Bhartiya Janata Party’s( BJP ) Central Parliamentary Board, along with the inclusion of his confidant Amit Shah as the party general secretary, are clear indications that the BJP prime ministerial candidate debate is settled within the party. Modi, the only chief minister to make it to the party’s top decision making body, is also included in the party’s election committee, thereby giving him a say in finalising the candidates for the coming elections. Modi’s elevation, as expected, was not received well by his critics and the Congress. Telecom minister Kapil Sibal was quick to respond with: “The re-induction of Narendra Modi to the BJP’s parliamentary board will cause self-destruction of the BJP.” Scores of editorials and op-eds emphasising why Modi would/should not be the PM of a   diverse and pluralistic society like India , will follow in days to come. It is indeed a bit rich coming from those who endlessly cajole and implore a ...

Pain is same for everyone!

The highest religion is to rise to universal brother hood; aye to consider all creatures your equals. - Guru Nanak ----- Non-violence and kindness to living beings is kindness to oneself. For thereby one's own self is saved from various kinds of sins and resultant sufferings and is able to secure his own welfare. - Mahavira ----- We should be able to refuse to live if the price of living be the torture of sentient beings. - Mahatma Gandhi ------ No nation is truly free until the animal, man's younger brother is free and happy. - T. L. Vaswani ------ Which religion gives the greatest joy to God? That which inspires human beings to practice Ahimsa and compassion to all creatures. - Vallabha Acharya ----- Let us pray that our food should not be colored with animal blood and human suffering. - Chitrabhanuji

THE PURI JAGNATH RATH YATRA COMMENCED TODAY

THE PURI JAGNATH RATH YATRA COMMENCED TODAY A spectacular festival of India dating back to 11th century has been celebrated over these years by lakhs of people from all over the country. For the devoted and believers, it is considered the most auspicious occasion. A glimpse of the Vamana, the dwarf form, an incarnation of Lord Jagannatha, is sure to ensure emancipation, release from the cycle of  birth and death. The wisdom of the chariot has been explained in the Kathopanishada: आत्मानं रथिनं विद्धि शरीरं रथमेव तु । बुद्धिं तु सारथिं विद्धि मनः प्रग्रहमेव च ।। (The body is the Chariot and the soul is the deity installed in the chariot. The wisdom acts as the charioteer to control the mind and thoughts.) The sanctity of the festival is such that even a touch of the chariot or even the ropes with which these are pulled is considered enough to confer the results of several pious deeds or penance for ages. The yatra also witness the coming together of all the spiritual forces...

Kerala could be the next J&K

Kerala could be the next J&K, if we let the Jihadis continue radicalising the Muslims and funding terrorism in the state.  1) In Kerala, the Muslim population is much richer than the non- Muslims, yet they indulge in terrorist acts - defying the much stated liberal BS that "terrorists are a result of deprivation and oppression" 2) The Muslims in Kerala are all very well educated but they still have a very high rate of population growth - defying yet another liberal BS that high population in Muslims is a result of illiteracy. 3) Love Jihad is largely becoming a nefarious tool to exploit the innocent non - Muslims youth  4) Muslims are enforcing Sharia in the state because they realise they're gaining majority. 5) The Muslims who used to talk about peace, tolerance and secularism are nowhere to be found now. 6) Non-Muslims can be murdered in broad daylight and no one wants to even talk about it 7) Barely anyone outside the state knows of the bloody past of Islamic ...
