Bhojshala issue : Shankaracharya undertakes hunger strike for being prevented from going to ‘Bhojshala’

February 15, 2013

Why BJP is following footsteps of Congress by trying to suppress voice and constitutional rights of Hindus ? Does it not look like 'Moghalai' (Mughal-like regime) of BJP ? If today BJP is preventing Hindu Saints and devotees from entering Hindu temples, tomorrow it may destroy Hindu temples like Mughal invaders !
To let Muslims read ‘namaz’, BJP Govt. harassed Shankaracharya! Hindus should not be surprised if BJP Govt. destroys Hindu temples as was done during Mughal regime !
Sudarshan Channel showed history of ‘Bhojshala’ to Hindus. Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the national spokesperson of HJS narrated this history.
On 14th February, Shankaracharya Swami Narendrananda Saraswati was prevented by BJP Government from going to Dhar from Indore; therefore, he has started hunger strike from the morning of 15th February at Indore. (Will police, who stopped Shankaracharya, ever dare to stop a maulana or Dharmaguru’ of another religion? If they are stopped, Muslims and Christians will immediately take to roads and raise voice; but Hindus remain quiet even after arrest of Shankaracharya. Hindus need to change this situation and engage in lawful protests ! – Editor Sanatan Prabhat)

BJP Government harassed Shankaracharya Swami Narendrananda Saraswati as per the following sequence of events !

1] On 14th February, police cordoned off the residence of Shankaracharya Swami Narendrananda Saraswati at late night in Indore.

2] On the same night, MP Health Minister met Shankaracharya and requested him to withdraw from the issue related to Bhojshala; but it was turned down by Shankaracharya.

3] On morning of 15th February, Shankaracharya, who was planning to go to Dhar, was advised by the police to travel in their vehicle for security reasons; but Shankaracharya insisted to travel by own vehicle; therefore, his vehicle going to Dhar was escorted by the police.

4] After travelling some distance, the vehicle was stopped by security forces on the road between Indore- Dhar. All attendants of Shankaracharya, his driver and Mr. Vinay Panwalkar, the North India Convener of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were asked to get down from the vehicle and police took over the vehicle and drove it away.

5] Cell phones of all attendants of Shankaracharya, his driver and Mr. Vinay Panwalkar were confiscated and they were detained in the same area.

6] Cell phone of Shankaracahrya was also taken away from him.

Preparations made by Muslims !

Today, since morning, Muslim women were going to Indore in vehicles and many Muslim men were going towards Dhar, informed local Hindus.

Navalkishore Sharma sent to judicial custody till 22nd February

Mr. Navalkishore Sharma, the national convener of ‘Bhojshala Mukti-yadnya Samiti’ was admitted to M. Y. Hospital at Indore as he was injured in brutal beating by MP police after his arrest. Shankaracharya went to meet him on 14th February; but before the meeting, Mr. Sharma was shifted by police and taken to Badwani jail. Later, he was presented in front of Magistrate at Dhar who sent Sharma to judicial custody till 22nd February.

Very important instruction for HJS coordinators !

Along with like-minded organizations from your district, register your protest through submitting representations, taking out protest rallies and demonstrations etc. against BJP Government in Madhya Pradesh !

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism!

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly. "Yasya Trayastrinshad Devaa Ange Sarve Samaahitaa, Skamma Tam Bruhi Katamah Swideva Sah”. ~(Atharva Veda 10-7-13) Which means: with God’s influence, these thirty-three (supporting devta) sustain the world. In Brhadaranyaka Upanishad while discussing Brahman, Yajnavalkya is asked how many gods are there. He says that there are three hundred and three and three thousand and three gods. When the question is repeated? He says, thirty three. When the question is again repeated he says, six. Finally, after several repetitions he says ONE. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 1) The number 33 comes from the number of Vedic gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2
