'I want to come for Kumbh Mela': Megastar Zeta-Jones seeks peace of mind in India
Hollywood beauty Catherine Zeta-Jones could be in India for the Kumbh Mela, which will take place this year from January 14 to February 25.

"I seek peace of mind. A reason why I love India is yoga, which originated in the country. I really want to visit India during the Kumbh Mela because I hope to find what I seek there," Zeta-Jones told Mail Today in an e-mail interview.
The Welsh actress further revealed she wants to be at the mela with actor-husband Michael Douglas and their two children, son Dylan and daughter Carys.
"I hope my family is with me during the visit. If not, I will surely try to be at the pilgrimage alone," she said.
The 43-year-old star admitted her need for pilgrimage was an outcome of the fact that she has been going through a 'tough' phase in life.
She was treated for bipolar II disorder in 2011 and Douglas had been suffering from cancer during the past few years.
If the visit happens, Zeta-Jones would be in India around the time her new film Broken City releases worldwide, including in India on January 18.
The film is billed as a suspense thriller and co-stars Russell Crowe and Mark Wahlberg.
Zeta-Jones plays the charismatic wife of a New York mayor, played by Crowe. The drama kicks in when the mayor, suspecting his wife of infidelity, discreetly sets an investigator after her. Wahlberg plays the sleuth.
Zeta-Jones described her role as an 'emotionally draining' one.
"The wife of a powerful politician often has to put up a face and project an image. She could seem to be what every woman aspires to be but her reality behind the closed doors could be something quite different. That aspect made the role an emotionally draining one," she said.

Like most Hollywood stars visiting India, Zeta-Jones revealed a keen interest to work in Bollywood films. Winner of a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in Rob Marshall's 2002 musical Chicago, she said she already has the experience of song-and-dance routines.
"I have had musical experience in films so I think I could be suitable. It could work if there is a good offer," she said.
The actress has been to India once earlier when she visited Rajasthan and Mumbai, and found the country as colourful as its people.
Born in Swansea, Wales, Zeta-Jones made her debut in the early nineties but shot to fame with the 1998-hit, The Mask Of Zorro. Since then, she has had a string of hits, including Entrapment, America's Sweethearts, Ocean's Twelve and The Legend Of Zorro.

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism!

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly. "Yasya Trayastrinshad Devaa Ange Sarve Samaahitaa, Skamma Tam Bruhi Katamah Swideva Sah”. ~(Atharva Veda 10-7-13) Which means: with God’s influence, these thirty-three (supporting devta) sustain the world. In Brhadaranyaka Upanishad while discussing Brahman, Yajnavalkya is asked how many gods are there. He says that there are three hundred and three and three thousand and three gods. When the question is repeated? He says, thirty three. When the question is again repeated he says, six. Finally, after several repetitions he says ONE. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 1) The number 33 comes from the number of Vedic gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2
