Hindus should set up their own TV channels ! – Raja Singh Thakur

Ramnathi, Ponda (Goa) : Now it is need of the hour that Hindus should start their own News channel. This appeal was made by Mr. Rajasingh Thakur, Editor, Shriram news channel, and the leader of Shriram Yuva sena. He was speaking on the fifth day of all India Hindu Convention.

Mr. Thakur added further that, “When we were able to gather lakhs of people on the day of Ramnavami, the Police began to object giving permission. At that time, Muslims resisted heavily. They attacked Shri Hanuman temple where event was going to take place and destroyed it. Devout Hindus vented their anger in a mild way. 'Four TV-channel' spread outright false news about the Hanuman Jayanti event.  'Four TV-channel' spread utterly false news that the Hindus pulled the Mosque down and threw pork meat on the Mosque. As a result all the Muslims were on the road. They attacked a cow pen near Sangmeshwar and burnt 8 cows alive, Attacked Hindu homes. All this happened because the Muslim channel showed false news. At that time we too thought that we should have a channel of our own and that is how ‘Shriram channel came into existence."

Shriram channel, a channel that is feared by the fanatics !

Traitors to Nation find our channel as an obstacle in their path. A Muslim MP has asked the cable operators in his area not to telecast the programs of Shriram channel. Though the viewership has reduced in that area, it has swelled in other places. If the Hindu organisations all over Bharat send us the video-CDs of different types of atrocities committed by the local Muslims, we will intensify our movement using them.

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism!

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly. "Yasya Trayastrinshad Devaa Ange Sarve Samaahitaa, Skamma Tam Bruhi Katamah Swideva Sah”. ~(Atharva Veda 10-7-13) Which means: with God’s influence, these thirty-three (supporting devta) sustain the world. In Brhadaranyaka Upanishad while discussing Brahman, Yajnavalkya is asked how many gods are there. He says that there are three hundred and three and three thousand and three gods. When the question is repeated? He says, thirty three. When the question is again repeated he says, six. Finally, after several repetitions he says ONE. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 1) The number 33 comes from the number of Vedic gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2
