Senior RSS Pracharak Srikant Joshi No More


Mumbai January 08, 2013: Senior RSS Pracharak Srikant Joshi passed away this morning following a massive cardiac arrest, in Mumbai.
 
Srikant Joshi, known for his works for building Hindustan Samachar group across the nation, as its chief Mentor.
Earlier, Joshi also served as Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS.
When Balasaheb Deoras was the Sarasanghachalak of RSS, Srikant Joshi served as his Personal Secretary, touring across India with Deoras.

मुंबई, दि. 8 जनवरी : रा. स्व. संघ के ज्येष्ठ प्रचारक तथा केंद्रीय कार्यकारिणी के सदस्य मा. श्रीकान्तजी जोशी का आज तडके मुंबई में दिल का दौरा पडने से दु:खद निधन हुआ। मृत्युसमय आपकी आयु 76 वर्ष की थी। असम में संघ का 25 वर्ष तक काम तथा पूजनीय तृतीय सरसंघचालक श्री. बालासाहबजी देवरस के स्वीय सहायक के रूप में आप का कार्य स्वयंसेवकों को काफी वर्ष तक स्मरण में रहेगा। आपने हिंदुस्थान समाचार इस संस्था को नवसंजीवनी देकर फिरसे कार्यरत किया। आज सत्रह भाषा में हिंदुस्थान समाचार का कार्य शुरू है। परसों रातको ही आप दिल्ली से मुंबई आये थे। आज तडके 4 बजे आपको दिल का दौरा आया। आपको हॉस्पिटल ले जाने के पूर्व ही आपका निधन हुआ।
मा. श्रीकान्तजी का पार्थिव दादर के पितृस्मृति कार्यालय में दर्शन हेतु रखा है। रा. स्व. संघ के सरकार्यवाह मा. भैयाजी जोशी की उपस्थिती में दादर श्मशानभूमि में अंत्यसंस्कार किये जायेंगे।
आपके पीछे चार बंधु एवं एक बहन ऐसा परिवार है।
 परिचय
21/12/1936 को मुंबई मे जन्म। मूलत: कोंकण के देवरुख निवासी। राज्यशास्त्र एवं अर्थशास्त्र इस विषय में बी. ए. करने के पश्चात आपने कुछ वर्ष आयुर्विमा महामंडल में आपकी सेवा दी। शिवरायजी तेलंग के प्रभाव से आपने संघ प्रचारक के रूप में 1960 में कार्य शुरु किया। महाराष्ट्र के नांदेड में आप प्रचारक के रूप में गये। 1963 को असम प्रांत के तेजपुर विभाग के आप प्रचारक हुए। 67 में गुवाहाटी में विभिन्न जनजाती के सहयोग से विराट हिंदु सम्मेलन का आयोजन हुआ था । उसके आप संघटन सचिव थे। कन्याकुमारी में विवेकानंद शिला स्मारक के काम की असम प्रांत की जिम्मेवारी आप के उपर थी। 71 से 86 तक आप असम प्रांत के प्रांत प्रचारक रहे। 87 से 96 तक आप सरसंघचालकजी के स्वीय सहायक थे। 97 से2004 तक आप अखिल भारतीय प्रचार प्रमुख रहे। इसी कालावधी में विश्व संवाद केंद्र का निर्माण किया गया। 2004 से आप कार्यकारिणी सदस्य के रूप में कार्यरत थे। अखिल भारतीय संपादक संघ आपकी ही निर्मिति है। हिंदुस्थान समाचार का पुनर्निर्माण केवल आपकी वजह से हो पाया है। आप हिंदी तथा मराठी के अच्छे लेखक थे। असम समस्या के बारे में आपने लिखा हुआ पुस्तक यह दीपस्तंभ माना जाता है
 
Hindustan Samachar, The national news agency which was established in the decade of 1940s, was the first to offer the news services in Indian languages. The prestigious national news agency had to shut services in the days of emergency when the agency invited the wrath of the Govt. The agencies services have resumed in last decade & currently the agency caters to the major vernacular press in India. The Hindustan Samachar offers services in 13 languages, including Sanskrit, with over 33 bureaus in throughout India & two overseas bureaus. It is the only agency offering news services in Sanskrit. There are ambitious plans of expansion in the line.

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly.
