Acclamation of Hindu Dharma in ‘Kumbh-Mela’

Convention of Saints

From a special correspondent

Prayagraj (UP) :
Saints’ convention was held at ‘Amarkantak’ in Kumbhanagari’ on 2nd  February at ‘Kalyan Seva Ashram’ in which more than 40 Dharmacharyas, Mahamandaleshwars, Saints- Mahants etc. participated. Most of them severely opposed the influence of western culture and strongly advocated God, Nation and Dharma. Chief of various Sects, Saints and Mahants attended the Convention.

In the year 2014, those who protect cow, Ganga and Geeta will come to power ! – ‘Patanjali’s Yoga-rhushi Baba Ramdev

Those, who are ruling the country now, are in confused state of mind. They have looted this country. India is not poor; but all the wealth from this country has been accumulated by the Congressmen in outside countries in the form of ‘black money’. All that money should be brought back. If a woman running a hotel in Italy, can run a country; then why 125 billions of guards protecting Indian culture, cannot run this country? If Indian culture is to be protected, cow, Ganga and ‘Geeta’ should be protected and in the year 2014, such ruler will come to power.

….then all Hindustan will become Kashmir ! – Acharya Govindgiriji, international propagator of Hindu Dharma

It is necessary to inculcate good values from childhood. Good values will protect culture. As there is need for virtuous future generation, so is the importance of population and unity amongst Hindus; else, within 25-30 years, whole of Bharat will face the same situation like Kashmir. Tibet is gone, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam are on the verge of going; therefore, there is a need for constant alertness amongst Hindus. As such, ‘Sadhu-saints’ should first become active for protection of Hindus rather than worrying for followers of other religions.

All Sainst should unite for Dharma and culture ! – Ashok Singhal, President, VHP

I have been visiting ‘Kumbh-Mela’ for the past 5-6 decades. In every ‘Kumbh-Mela’, the topic of undertaking movement for protection of cows is discussed. Elections were fought against Jawaharlal Nehru on the same topic. Even today, the same topic is given importance which means that although we got freedom; we have not regained our culture and piety. We will have to wedge a bigger war for protection of Dharma and culture and the united strength of ‘Saints- evolved persons’ should become active.

Else, there will be outburst of Hindus’ tolerance ! – Swami Narendragiri Maharaj

Resolve is always made for protection of Hindu Dharma and Saints; but nobody is active to achieve the same. Even when Hindu organizations are branded as terrorists, we keep mum. How long should Hindus tolerate? Otherwise, there will be outburst of Hindus like erupting volcano.

Desecration of Deities should be opposed ! – Old ‘Aakhaada’ Mahamandaleshwar Swami Dr. Umakantananda Saraswati Maharaj

People openly say on ‘Peace’ channel that ‘I am proud of being a Muslim.’ The condition of Hindus is just opposite. National and international companies make mockery of Hindus’ Deities through advertisements which should be strongly opposed.

‘First think of self as a Hindu !’ – Mahamandaleshwar Swami Prakharji Maharaj, Hardwar

Hindu Dharma has taught humanity about how a virtuous behaviour should be. As such, Hindus are not terrorists. Everyone should unite, do introspection and take effective action. First, think of self as Hindu. Hindus need to know themselves.

Protect ‘Swa-Dharma’ and culture ! – Nirmal Aakhaadaa Mahamandaleshwar Mata Veda Bharati

Hindus are under total influence of western culture; therefore, they have forgotten their own Dharma and culture. Hindus go abroad to work and destroy Hindu culture; therefore, it is necessary that they should protect own Dharma and culture.

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism!

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly. "Yasya Trayastrinshad Devaa Ange Sarve Samaahitaa, Skamma Tam Bruhi Katamah Swideva Sah”. ~(Atharva Veda 10-7-13) Which means: with God’s influence, these thirty-three (supporting devta) sustain the world. In Brhadaranyaka Upanishad while discussing Brahman, Yajnavalkya is asked how many gods are there. He says that there are three hundred and three and three thousand and three gods. When the question is repeated? He says, thirty three. When the question is again repeated he says, six. Finally, after several repetitions he says ONE. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 1) The number 33 comes from the number of Vedic gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2
