New Delhi : Today Maa Saraswati Mandir, Bhojshala Mukti Yagna Samiti and Maa Saraswati Janm Mahotsav Samiti organised Press Conference here on the issue of Bhojshala (Mata Saraswati Temple). The conference was addressed by Mr. Navalkishore Sharma, National Coordinator, Maa Saraswati Mandir, Bhojshala Mukti Yagna Samiti and Maa Saraswati Janm Mahotsav Samiti, Mr. Basavraj Patil, Bharat Vikas Sangama, Mr. Manish Munjal, Secreatary, Samarth Sanghatana and Mr. Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

The religious center of spiritual and cultural incarnation place of Maa Saraswati at Bhojshala is a matter of faith for Hindus all around the world . The tradition of celebrating incarnation day of Maa Saraswati on Basant Panchami is done at Maa Saraswati Mandir, Bhojshala since 978 B.C.

In 1997, besides having visual and archeological evidences of the temple, Chief Minister Digvijiaya Singh allowed Muslims to offer namaz inside Bhojshala Temple and totally prohibited hindus to enter the temple. After prolong struggle and sacrifices from 1997 to 2003, the MP Govt. bent its knees in front of public protests and was forced to open the temple to Hindus. However, Hindus were allowed only to perform Puja once a year, on the occasion of Basant Panchami.

During the legislative election in 2003, the BJP promised to get back the idol of Maa Saraswati devi from London and install the Murti inside the Bhojshala. The BJP won the election because of its promise to the Hindu community. However, after being the ruling party since 2003 the BJP has proven that it has used the Hindutva card only for getting power. The BJP has totally forgotten the issue and is following the Congress Party in appeasing minorities.

Black Day in Indian History

On 3rd February, 2006 the ruling BJP government in the state brutally snuffed off the Holy yagy-agni on the pious occasion of Basant Panchami in Bhojshala and allowed Muslims to offer namaz.

In 2011 the BJP banned the Palaquine possession on the occasion of the 1000 years of Rajyabhishek of Maharaja Bhoj . The idol of Maa Saraswati which was make from eight metals was kept at Police Station in Gwalior on Basant Panchami. The idol is still at the police station under state govt. observation. The Janmotsav celebration was again prohibited in 2012. Hindu were tortured and were beaten up by police while demonstrating peacefully for demanding puja rights on basant Panchami. Hindu sisters were also beaten in that demonstration.

On 15th February 2013, Basant Panchami is on friday, and the BJP govt will repeat the unfateful event of 2006. The BJP is using security to convert the temple into a jail type situation. There is tremendous fear and anxiety among Hindus because of the terror being used by the local government bodies. Hindus are threatened with flag marches inside villages and are facing adverse consequences if they perform puja in Bhojshala. The State Government is playing with Hindu sentiments by its tactful appeasement policy of vote bank politics to minorities. Thus, the govt is oppressing Hindus.

Hindus do not want namaz inside the Temple

Hindus are demanding their constitutional and legal right to offer Puja inside the Bhojshala. Central and State Government should allow a full day Puja without any disturbance on Basant Panchami on 15 Feb 2013. It must return the idol of Maa Saraswati from Gwalior with full respect.

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism!

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly. "Yasya Trayastrinshad Devaa Ange Sarve Samaahitaa, Skamma Tam Bruhi Katamah Swideva Sah”. ~(Atharva Veda 10-7-13) Which means: with God’s influence, these thirty-three (supporting devta) sustain the world. In Brhadaranyaka Upanishad while discussing Brahman, Yajnavalkya is asked how many gods are there. He says that there are three hundred and three and three thousand and three gods. When the question is repeated? He says, thirty three. When the question is again repeated he says, six. Finally, after several repetitions he says ONE. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 1) The number 33 comes from the number of Vedic gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2
