Prayagaraj (Uttar Pradesh) : In order to enable Hindus to perform worship of Shri Saraswati Devi for the whole day on Vasant Panchami, Shri Kashi Sumeru Pithadhishwar Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Narendrananda Saraswati Himself had to proceed to Dhar district in M.P. and carry out a fierce agitation. (BJP Government in M.P. forcing Shankaracharya to undertake an agitation ! BJP Government, which was elected to power on the strength of majority of Hindu votes and which is committing atrocities on Hindus in the same way as Muslims have no moral right to remain in power ! – Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

More than 2000 Hindus got united in Bhojshala, in Dhar (M.P.)

Resolution to continue the fight till the idol of Shri Saraswati Devi is re-installed in Bhojshala !

Dhar (Madhya Pradesh) : On Tuesday the 19th February, more than 2000 Hindus took darshan in Bhojshala. Hindus loudly shouted slogans against MLA Nina Varma, Collector C.B. Sinh and Police I.G. Anuradha Shankar while protesting against the inhuman lathicharge used by the police on Hindus on the day of Vasant Panchami. Similarly, they have also raised a demand to suspend the Collector and Police I.G. The President of Bhojshala Festival Committee Ashok Jain has warned that the fight will continue till the idol of Shri Saraswati Devi is re-installed in Bhojshala. Idol of Shri Saraswati Devi should be prevented from getting deposited with the Archaeological Department ! – Jain

Mr. Ashok Jain said, “The original idol of Shri Saraswati Devi in Bhojshala is at London. The judicial court in London has issued a judgement in favour of returning this idol to Bharat, but our struggle does not end here. This idol should be prevented from getting deposited with the Archaeological Department and should be reinstalled in Bhojshala.

Ashokrao Telang, an office bearer of RSS writing a letter to the Spokesman of BJP Vinay Sahasrabuddhe

How to justify the actions of Shivarajsinh Chauhan ?

Sangli (Maharashtra) : On the issue of inhuman lathicharge inflicted on Hindus in Bhojshala, a sit-in agitation was conducted in Sangli against BJP Government in M.P. In this agitation, Ashokrao Telang, an office bearer of Rashtriya Svayamsevak Sangh had also participated. He has sent an e-mail to the Spokesman of BJP Vinay Sahasrabuddhe. In this mail, Mr. Telang wrote, “The news about Bhojshala (M.P.) appearing in media are very disturbing. The state of ‘Our own people committing atrocities on our own people’ has arisen. How are we supposed to justify the actions of Shivarajsinh Chauhan ? Why the BJP Government, which we called as our own is behaving in such a manner ? We are justifiably feeling scared about losing elections due in 2014, which we felt that we had a good chance of winning. (Will the office bearers of BJP think about these developments by keeping their eyes open ? - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

Bhojshala Issue : BJP Minister visiting injured Hindus at Dhar had to flee because of enraged Hindus !

February 19, 2013

Hindus, make the rulers, who commit atrocities mercilessly on you to flee from your wrath like this only !

Dhar (M.P.) : Hindus injured in the inhuman lathicharge by the police under orders from BJP Government, in Bhojshala at Dhar on the day of Vasant Panchami are admitted in the hospital here. On Sunday evening, the Minister in the BJP Government Mahendra Hardia, who went to visit the Hindus in the hospital had to face extreme rage displayed by Hindus. (Hindus are not that innocent not to see through the traitor to Dharma rulers who pretend to show sympathy to Hindus even after subjecting them to inhuman lathicharge ! – Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’) On this occasion, Hindus started loudly shouting slogans against Chief Minister Shivrajsingh Chauhan. Realising the rage of Hindus, Minister Hardia had to flee from the spot.

Minister Hardia had gone to the hospital to meet the injured Hindus under tight police security. On this occasion, he was gheraoed by the Hindus gathered there, and Hindus demanded that action should be taken against Police I.G. Anuradha Shankar, who had issued orders for using lathicharge. Hindus also tried to put a ‘green Odhani’ around the neck of the Minister. (Beware pro-Muslim rulers ! Realise that Hindus, who are putting ‘green Odhani’ around your neck today, will not also hesitate to dig graves for you tomorrow ! - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’) Hindus also warned Minister Hardia that the revenge for the atrocities committed on Hindus will be taken in coming Assembly elections.

Hindus, powerful proud Hindu organisations will not take any action to secure justice for Hindus in the Bhojshala issue !

Fight yourselves by getting united till idol of Shri Saraswati Devi is re-installed !

Bandh also observed on the next day in some areas of Dhar !

Dhar (M.P.) : In protest against the lathicharge by the police on Hindus proceeding to Bhojshala in Dhar for performing worship on Friday, the day of Vasant Panchami, Hindu Jagaran Manch and Bhojshala Utsav Samiti had given a call of ‘Dhar bandh’ agitation on 16th February. Due to the excellent response given by Hindus to the call, ‘bandh’ was successful. The bandh was also observed on the next day, the 17th February, in the vegetable market opposite Bhojshala and other parts of the city. The police had made security arrangements to prevent any untoward incident.

Demand to suspend Police Inspector General

A demand to suspend the Police Inspector General responsible for the incident of using inhuman lathicharge on Hindus going to Bhojshala was made by Mr. Ashok Jain, President, Bhojshala Festival Committee and Mr. Gopal Varma, Distrct Convener of Hindu Jagaran Manch in a press conference held at Indore. Mr. Jain and Mr. Varma alleged that this lathicharge was carried out on the orders of Police I.G.

Crocodile tears of BJP’s Industries Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya committing atrocities on Hindus !

Says, “Lathicharge of such an intensity was not essential !”

BJP’s Industries Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, who had ordered a lathicharge on Hindus going in Bhojshala, in the year 2006 said, “Lathicharge of this proportion on the day of Vasant Panchami was not essential.”    (Does Industries Minister mean that a lathicharge of lesser intensity would have been justified ? Hindus, a time has come to display your united strength before the people’s representatives, who justify the lathicharge used on you, leave alone their duty to protect you ! - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’) Another BJP Minister Hardia said that he would discuss the matter with the police officers using lathicharge. (We do not require the people’s representatives who would just discuss the matter with the police officers using lathicharge, but we need those who would take action against them ! Hindus, teach lessons in coming elections to the BJP rulers who despite committing atrocities on you pretend to be innocent ! - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

Chief Minister’s effigy burnt at 3 places in Dhar District

Effigy of Chief Minister Shivrajsingh Chauhan was burnt in Dhar District at 3 places namely Sadalpur, Dhamanod, and Rajad. During ‘Dhar bandh’ agitation, Hindus shouted slogans against the chief Minister and burnt his effigy. (Hindus, injustice on you will not be compensated just by burning the effigy. Show such Chief Minister and other rulers of BJP their right place in coming elections ! - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

Insensitivity of BJP towards Hindus !

‘Mr. Navalkishor Sharma, National Convener of Bhojshala Mukti Yadnya Samiti in Dhar (M.P.) was arrested by the police on 11.2.13 at Indore and was brutally assaulted. In protest against this incident, and to secure the right for Hindus from the BJP Government in M.P. to perform worship on the whole day on Vasant Panchami by not allowing Muslims to offer Namaz on that day, demonstrations were held between 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on 12.12.2013, on behalf of proud Hindu organisation, outside the National Head-quarters of BJP in New Dehali. While the agitation by proud Hindus was in progress, not a single leader or activists of BJP visiting the BJP office tried to seek any information about the agitation.’

Bhojshala Issue : It is said that ‘BJP Government failed to abide the orders from Archaeological Dept. !’

February 18, 2013

What right (Maulana) Digvijay Singh (Khan), who committed atrocities on the Hindus entering Bhojshala to perform worship during his tenure as the Chief Minister has got to criticise BJP ?

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) : The Archaeological Survey of India had issued orders to M.P. Government to get offering of Namaz and performing of worship executed on the day of Vasant Panchami. However, the government has failed to obey these orders. In these words, the General Secretary of Congress (Maulana) Digvijay Singh (Khan) has criticised the government. He further said that the government has also failed to fulfil the assurance given to the Union Home Ministry in this regard. Singh has decided to write a letter to the Union Home Ministry in this matter. [(Maulana) Digvijay Singh (Khan), who opened the Shri Sarasawti temple of Hindus for Muslims to offer Namaz on every Friday instead of handing it over to Hindus has no moral right to speak on this subject ! - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’]

Singh further said, “The administration prohibited the public gathering by promulgating Section 144 in Dhar. Even then, permission to take out a procession and shout slogans was given to Hindus leading to the creation of tension. (Hindus, Take Singh to the task wherever possible for making such statement! - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’) Even though, the administration claims that a Namaz was offered in Kamal Maulana Masjid in Bhojshala, the Namaz was not offered at the place designated for it in the order, as per the claim of Singh. (Why Maulana Singh, who talks on offering of Namaz by Muslims keeps quiet on the abduction of Shankaracharya Swami Narendranand Saraswati of Shrikashisumeru  Pith by the police of BJP Government ? Why does he not talk about inhuman thrashing of Mr. Navalkishor Sharma ? - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

BJP Government in M.P. lost on both accounts !

The BJP Government banned the worship of Hindus in Bhojshala on Vasant Panchami in order to facilitate Muslims to offer Namaz. After the agitation by Hindus, permission was granted to Muslims to offer Namaz for 2 hours, and Hindus to perform worship during the rest of time. On Vasant Panchami, in order to facilitate Muslims to offer Namaz, the government forced Hindus out of Bhojshala by use of police lathicharge and allowed Muslims to offer Namaz. However, Muslims have alleged that they were not allowed to offer Namaz in Bhojshala.

Thus the government, on one hand hurt the sentiments of Hindus by physically assaulting them and on the other, even by allowing Muslims to offer Namaz, Muslims are incensed over the government for not allowing them to offer Namaz as claimed by them. Therefore, it seems that the BJP Government in M.P. has lost on both accounts !

Baba Somnath of “Hindu Swabhiman Jagaran Manch” in Nepal said, “In the matter, whether Hindus would be able to seek darshan in Bhijshala for the whole day or not, the decision should be given in favour of Hindus. It is shameful for BJP to commit such action – Mr. Nitin Vyas, Organiser of Chhava organisation for Vidarbha

Mr. Nitin Vyas, Organiser of Chhava organisation for Vidarbha said on this occasion, “Till today, Congress Government was committing atrocities on Hindus for the sake of votes, but today, BJP is following in the same footsteps. The example of this is an incident that occurred at Dhar. We assume Shankaracharya as a Deity. Only thing we want is to be able to perform worship in our temples for 24 hours. Why BJP feels ashamed of this ? Since the time BJP added green colour in its party-flag, all wreckage has happened. It is shameful for BJP to commit such action. Breathe fire; time has come for revolution. It is a time for ‘Now or never’. There is no use being Hindu by birth. We will have to become Hindus by action and thoughts. Only elect the candidate in the next election who will promise to protect Hindu Dharma. Vande Mataram.”

We will never tolerate that Saints have to face such a situation ! – H. B. P. Sudhir Maharaj Borole
On this occasion, H. B. P. Sudhir Maharaj Borole said, “This is a serious matter for each of us. If Saints, who had dreamt for the welfare of this nation and performed the mission of awakening about Hindu Dharma are treated in such a disrespectful way, it will be a matter of shame. All the political parties possess only one objective, that of weakening Hindus. Sadhus like us have to take to streets against the injustice meted out to Hindus. What can be more unfortunate than this ? We will have to struggle day and night. Else we will get drowned in this situation. When Saints, for whom we are grateful have to face such a situation, we will never tolerate this. For this purpose, I will extend full support to agitations by Hindus. I will also remain present on such occasions.”

Ms. Bhagyashree Deshmane of Ranragini branch said, “It is shameful for us that Hindus have to seek permission to perform worship in their own temple. The government is under the wrong impression if it feels that we would keep quiet. We, all Ranraginis vehemently protest such act by taking to streets.”

Bhojshala issue : ‘Dhar bandh’ agitation in protest against atrocities on Hindus

February 17, 2013

Dhar (Madhya Pradesh) : Due to use of brutal lathicharge by the police on Hindus proceeding to Bhojshala in Dhar for performing worship on Friday, the day of Vasant Panchami, one Hindu died, and more than 450 Hindus were injured. In protest against this lathicharge, Hindu Jagaran Manch and Bhojshala Utsav Samiti had given a call of ‘Dhar bandh’ agitation. Due to the excellent response given by Hindus to the call, ‘bandh’ was successful. The traders from Dhar city and many surrounding areas have supported the agitation by keeping their establishments closed.

Unidentified individuals set fire to a police bus and a shop in Dhar !

Some unidentified individuals demolished a wall of Dargah in a graveyard and a minaret in Kumhargadhdha, Dhar on Friday night. Therefore, a large number of Muslims had gathered on the location. (Muslims aware of their faith towards religion ! How many Hindus would display such awareness ! – Editor Daily Sanatan Prabhat) The police force from Dhar and Indore were immediately deployed on the spot in view of the tense situation there.

Police themselves performed worship in the name of Hindus !  – Ashok Jain, President, Bhojshala Festival Committee

Hindus had come in Bhojshala for performing worship with a lot of enthusiasm. The gathering also included women and children. However, due to the brutal lathicharge by police, hundreds of Hindus returned without performing worship.

After Muslims had offered Namaz in the noon, policemen in plain clothes assumed the role of Hindus and performed worship in Bhojshala in an attempt to create an impression of worship in progress. However, Hindus had already boycotted the worship. This information was given by Mr. Ashok Jain, President, Bhojshala Festival Committee. (This goes to show that in order to deceive Hindus, how low police can stoop ! – Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

Offering of Namaz did not take place at all – Claim by Kazi Vakar Sadik

Even though, the administration claimed so, offering of Namaz did not take place at all in Bhojshala. We were escorted for offering Namaz, but Namaz did not take place. The administration should provide a proof for offering of Namaz. If the administration fails to do so, we will take legal action. (A photograph showing Muslims offering Namaz was publicised on the website of a local newspaper. Even then, Muslims creating tumult by lying about it ! - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

Will file a case in the court of law against the administration and State government – Muslim Personal Law Board

A member of Muslim Personal Law Board Arif Masud had filed a petition in the Indore Bench of High Court for allowing Muslims to offer Namaz peacefully in Bhojshala on Friday, a day of Vasant Panchami. At the time of hearing of the petition, the administration had agreed to allow Muslims to offer Namaz peacefully on the day of Vasant Panchami. Even then Muslims were not allowed to offer Namaz on Friday, which is a contempt of Court. For this, a case will be filed in the court of law against the administration and State government, according to Masud. He also informed that Kazi Vakar Sadik nd a Congress leader Mujib Kureshi will also be meeting the Governer in this matter. (Just to appease Muslims, BJP Government used lathicharge on Hindus and made arrangements for Muslims to enable them to offer Namaz. The above act of Muslims proves that they will backstab irrespective of the efforts taken to please them. The day on which BJP government will realise this will be a lucky day ! - Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

Treatment in hospital continues on the injured in police lathicharge !

Hindus injured in the police lathicharge, which took place on Friday in Bhojshala were admitted in Dhar District Hospital and in three other hospitals. Due to this lathicharge, Hindus suffered injuries on their head, hands, feet, back etc.

Police register cases against unidentified individuals

Unidentified individuals had indulged in stone throwing and arson on 15th February. On that occasion, a police van and a two-wheeler was set on fire. Similarly, damage was caused to the BJP office, and few policemen were also injured in the stone throwing. Police have registered cases against unidentified individuals in this matter.

Archaeological Department not even aware that the temples are not just the historical monuments, but they are religious places of Hindus !

‘Many ancient temples in Bharat are preserved by the Archaeological Department. Even then, a temple is meant for devotees and not just for preservation. Temple is not just a historical monument like a fort or a palace, but it is a place for performing worship and rituals. Since the Archaeological Department is not conscious of this fact, they enforce many restrictions on Hindus and prevent them from performing worship and other rituals.

Religious places like Vatican Church of Christians and Mecca, Medina of Muslims are also historical monuments. Still, they are used for religious programmes. The department of Archaeological Survey of India should definitely preserve the ancient temples, but their objective should be that these temples remain fit for performing worship in them.

In Hindu nation, the temples, which are sources of Chaitanya will be properly preserved. There will be an Archaeological Department which will be conscious to ensure how maximum benefit of the temples can be accrued to Hindus !’

Bhojshala issue : Shivaraj Singh attempted to kill me, says Shankaracharya

While speaking with Press, Kashi Sumeru Pitha Shankaracharya Narendrananda Saraswati Maharaj said, "This time I had to face so much insult in Madhya Pradesh, which I have not thought even in the dream. I was put under house arrest at some place in dense forest. One IPS officer Ramaji Shrivastav tried to kill me by dashing his police vehicle to the vehicle in which I was travelling. Police also assaulted owner and driver of my vehicle. Will Shivraj do this with any Muslim religious leader ? BJP Govt. kept me under house arrest in the guest house of Forest Department for 4.5 hours. This guest house was built in British era and it was full of dust."

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism!

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly. "Yasya Trayastrinshad Devaa Ange Sarve Samaahitaa, Skamma Tam Bruhi Katamah Swideva Sah”. ~(Atharva Veda 10-7-13) Which means: with God’s influence, these thirty-three (supporting devta) sustain the world. In Brhadaranyaka Upanishad while discussing Brahman, Yajnavalkya is asked how many gods are there. He says that there are three hundred and three and three thousand and three gods. When the question is repeated? He says, thirty three. When the question is again repeated he says, six. Finally, after several repetitions he says ONE. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 1) The number 33 comes from the number of Vedic gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2
