Ranchi: It was a grueling day for the police in the Jharkhand capital even as they grilled Hyderabad twin blasts suspect Manzar Imam who was presented in a local court here on Monday.

Manzar was quizzed by a team of CID, Special Branch and Ranchi Police in the IB office at Ranchi airport for nearly 2 hours from 12.30pm to 2.30 pm.

According to police, Manzar confessed that he worked for the Indian Mujahideen and knew of the Hyderabad blasts although he himself was not involved in them.

Manzar also confessed that he knew about the plan for the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. NIA took his fingerprints.

Manzar was then flown to Delhi, accompanied by a team of NIA onboard Air India flight IC 910 at around 3.25 in the afternoon. Manzar had his lunch at the airport.
