Views expressed by Swami Nirvikalpanand Saraswati, Secretary of Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswati on a visit to the exhibition on the topic of the establishment of Hindu Nation !

Prayagaraj (UP) :  When I met all the seekers after visiting the exhibition organised by Sanatan Sanstha, I perceived deep affinity towards Sanatan Sanstha. I am feeling as if I am among our own seekers. Let us meet more often in this way and exchange greeting on the occasions of religious festivals. This will enhance the affection between us. We have to come together to perform the mission in the future. After all, a forest protects a tiger, and a tiger protects a forest. Both of them protect each other. Shankaracharya has already declared Sanatan Sanstha as a friendly organisation. This in itself has manifested His affection towards you. Such a sacred blessing was bestowed by Swami Nirvikalpanand Saraswati, Secretary of Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswati of Shri Govardhanpith at Puri on a courtesy visit to the exhibition organised by Sanatan Sanstha.

On this occasion, National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Pujya Dr. Charudatta Pingle, Coordinator of Govardhanpith of Shankaracharya Ashok Sing were present. Shri. Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti felicitated Swamiji by waving a lit lamp around him.

Swami Nirvikalpanand Saraswati further said –

1. Your Gurudev is very much full of Chaitanya. He is requested to visit Pith in Puri.

2. Success cannot be achieved without the worship of God. We should not forget that sadhana (Spiritual practice) is the best of all paths.

3. Many individuals use to think ‘Why I cannot achieve success despite performing sadhana.’ They should complement sadhana with sat-seva (Service unto Absolute Truth). Without it, they will not attain inspiration from Deities.

4. The power of discernment, which awakens in the company of Guru has to be spread for the propagation of Dharma and Spirituality in the entire Universe. Foreigners acquire Knoweldge from Bharatiya Gurus by coming to India: whereas, we belong to this soil itself. Therefore, we must perform sadhana to the maximum extent.

5. Shankaracharya ordered me to visit the exhibition on top priority despite my busy schedule. I am extremely pleased to come here. I seriously feel that would I have visited this venue earlier, it would have been much better; because, I could have come here more often.

Highlights

1. Swamiji watched the exhibition at leisure. He drew the attention of everyone towards hoarding of self-defence training course and said, “This exercise will be very much needed in the future. It is extremely essential to defend ourselves. This should also be given importance while spread of Dharma.”

2. Swamiji was enquiring with the seekers present at the venue of the exhibition with a great interest.

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism!

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly. "Yasya Trayastrinshad Devaa Ange Sarve Samaahitaa, Skamma Tam Bruhi Katamah Swideva Sah”. ~(Atharva Veda 10-7-13) Which means: with God’s influence, these thirty-three (supporting devta) sustain the world. In Brhadaranyaka Upanishad while discussing Brahman, Yajnavalkya is asked how many gods are there. He says that there are three hundred and three and three thousand and three gods. When the question is repeated? He says, thirty three. When the question is again repeated he says, six. Finally, after several repetitions he says ONE. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 1) The number 33 comes from the number of Vedic gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2...
