Udgir : Fanatics hoist green flag on Hindu castle, attack Police and protesting Hindus Read more at: http://www.hindujagruti.org/news/15893.html

O Hindus, this is the true report of Udgir riots; while what media has reported about Udgir riots is totally misleading. Hindus should boycott such media which does not publish truth !

Latur (Maharashtra) : The fanatic rioters launched an armed attack on the Hindus who had demanded arrest of the fanatics and protested hoisting of a green flag on Udgir castle and the Police who were on security duty and ignited a gory riot. (As the fanatics are appeased excessively in the Congress rule, they are sure that no one can cause harm to them. Hence, they dare to hoist a green flag on a castle of historic and religious importance and also attacked the Hindus who oppose it. O Hindus ! To change this situation, there is no alternative to establishment of the Hindu Rashtra (A nation run by sattvik people for the welfare of the universe) ! – Editor Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
The fanatic rioters pelted stones on the Udgir city Police station and District Police Superintendent on a large scale. During the riot many hardcarts, betelnut leaves stalls, buses of state transport corporation, restaurants etc. were vandalised.

Attempt to capture of holy place of Hindus

1. Members from a community had organized ‘Ijtema’ of Latur District on 14th and 15th March in Udgir. Many persons had come to the city in large number from various parts of the district. It was said that about 1,50,000 persos had gathered for ‘Ijtema’.
2. Udgir town is known to be very sensitive area. There is a ‘samadhi’ of Udgir baba at Udgir Fort. Hindus go there every day for ‘darshan’. On Friday, few fanatics hoisted green flags in the fort and tried to disturb communal harmony. (Whenever fanatics come together, they do something against Hindus and disturb peace. The same thing happened in Udgir. If pro-Hindu organizations don’t take any action and be just a spectator, one day, these fanatics will hoist green flag on this country ! - Editor Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Attempts to throttle Hindu voice

1. Hindus gave a representation demanding arrests in this connection. Hindus had warned to undertake ‘fast’ on 16th March for their demands.
2. Accordingly, Hindu youth started to make preparations for going on hunger strike. This enraged fanatics as they thought that Police would take some action against the fanatic youth.
3. District Superintendent of Police (DSP) B. G. Gaikar made an appeal to Hindus, who had gathered to take out march, for maintaining peace. (Fanatics indulge in misdeeds and Hindus have to remain calm. Why don’t police make such appeal to fanatics? – Editor Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
4. Everyone started towards the fort for hoisting saffron flag.

Fanatics attack police

1. At that time, the fanatics pelted stones on the vehicle of DSP Gaikar.
2. They then charged on Udgir city police station and there was heavy stone pelting by them. (Now fanatics are not afraid of police and take law in their hands, directly challenging police ! – Editor Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
3. Initially, police broke 6 tear gas shells to disperse the crowd; fired 4 rounds in the air; but crowd could not be controlled. Then police beat up whoever was in their way to disperse the crowd.
4. Two motorcycles were burnt in the riots. Fanatics damaged handcarts and stalls of ‘Paanwallas’ in different parts of the town and looted them. They pelted stones at two buses of MSRTC and broke glasses. Stones were pelted at two police jeeps. Two hotels were set on fire. Glasses of about ten shops in the town were broken.

Hindus too arrested in riots case

1.  Police have arrested two fanatics going with knife. More than 100 fanatic rioters have been taken into custody by police and 8 Hindus have also been arrested. (Fanatics start riots and when Hindus try to retaliate, Hindus are only arrested; which is injustice to Hindus ! – Editor Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
2. Curfew has been imposed from 1.00 p.m. in the town to restore peace. Students and parents have been excluded from this curfew.
3. 106 police officers, police staff, State reserved Police and squad to control riots have been deployed in the town.
4. Six persons injured in the riots have been admitted to District Hospital. The whole district has been put on high alert.

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism!

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly. "Yasya Trayastrinshad Devaa Ange Sarve Samaahitaa, Skamma Tam Bruhi Katamah Swideva Sah”. ~(Atharva Veda 10-7-13) Which means: with God’s influence, these thirty-three (supporting devta) sustain the world. In Brhadaranyaka Upanishad while discussing Brahman, Yajnavalkya is asked how many gods are there. He says that there are three hundred and three and three thousand and three gods. When the question is repeated? He says, thirty three. When the question is again repeated he says, six. Finally, after several repetitions he says ONE. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 1) The number 33 comes from the number of Vedic gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2
