Govt. should not try Warakaris’ patience ! – H. B. P. Prakash Maharaj Javanjal

15000 Warkaris unite in Paithan Convention !

Main demands of Warkaris :
  • Stringent action to be taken against those burning ‘Tukaram Gaatha’
  • Implement Act banning cow-slaughter !
  • Anti-superstitions Bill not required !

Sri-Kshetra Paithan (Maharashtra) : Stringent action has not been taken against those burning Saint Tukaram’s ‘Gaatha’; no amenities have been provided to Warkaris at Paithan; moreover, roads have been dug up just 15 days before ‘Sri Eknath-Shashti’. The Government says that anti-superstitions Bill would not be passed without taking Warkaris into confidence; but before that, it is preparing draft of the Bill with workers of ANiS. The Government has thus betrayed Warkaris. Warkaris strongly oppose this Bill and considering this, the Government should not pass this Bill. The Government should not try Warkaris’ patience ; else, Warkari Sampradaya will give an apt answer to all such attacks. The above warning was given by H. B. P. Prakash Maharaj Javanjal, the President of Maharashtra Rajya Warkari Mahamandal.
He was speaking in the Convention organized by ‘Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti (ABSS)’ at Sri-Kshetra Paithan in the context of matters related to protection of cows, Dharma and Nation. On 1st and 2nd April, two Conventions took place at ‘Sadguru Dada Maharaj Chaturmasye Phada’ and ‘Umbarekar Maharaj Phada’. All speakers presented their views on attacks on Hindu Dharma, on Warkari Sampradaya, future challenges before them etc. in fiery and brilliant manner. H. B. P. Baburao Maharaj Wagh did compeering of the program. 15,000 Warkaris passed resolutions related to various attacks with acclamation of ‘Pundalik Varade Hari Vitthal…..’
Many dignitaries like Mahamantri of ABSS, H. B. P. Rameshwar Maharaj Shastri, H. B. P. Dnyaneshwar Vishnu Maharaj Kolhapurkar, the President of Saint Dnyaneshwar Mandir from Sri-Kshetra Apegaon, H. B. P. Prakash Maharaj Bodhale, Mahamandaleshwar Mahant Amrutdas Maharaj,  Editor of ‘Hindu Jagruti’, H. B. P. Baburao Maharaj Wagh, H. B. P. Bapu Maharaj Raokar, the President of Rashtreeya Warkari Sena for Konkan Region, H. B. P. Dada Maharaj Chaturmasye, H. B. P. Umbarekar Maharaj, H. B. P. Balram Maharaj, H. B. P. Ishwar Maharaj, H. B. P. Somnath Maharaj Sabale, H. B. P. Subhash Maharaj Jadhav, Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, the State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Maharashtra, etc. were present on the occasion.

….else this will be the last elections for rulers ! – H. B. P. Rameshwar Maharaj Shastri

The Government and anti-social elements should note the sharpness of opposition of Warkari Sampradaya shown against Vasant Kalpande, Anand Yadav and Dow Company. There is ban on cow-slaughter in 13 States; but Maharashtra is not implementing the same; whereas the Government is very eager to pass anti-superstitions Bill. The Government is trying to show, with the connivance of few Warkaris, that Warkaris are not opposed to anti-superstitions Bill. If the Government does not take action taking note of resolutions passed during Convention held at Paithan, 1, 00,000 Warkaris will take out a march to ‘Vidhan Bhavan’ during monsoon session of State Assembly. For those, who don’t accept the demands, 2014 elections will be their last elections.

Attacks on Warkari Saampradaya is a conspiracy ! – H. B. P. Dnyaneshwar Vishnu Maharaj Kolhapurkar

Attacks on Warkari Sampradaya is a part of conspiracy. The Government has become thick-skinned and Warkaris have sounded the bugle of war against them. The funds received for providing amenities to Warkaris, should not be used for other purposes. There is lot of corruption in the name of development of Sri-Kshetra Paithan; tenders are passed, money is given as per the Bills but work is not done. ‘Jagatik Warkari Parishad’ has been established to fight against attacks on Warkaris.

Government’s list of plan has no agenda related to Warkaris ! – H. B. P. Prakash Maharaj Bodhale

There is not a single topic related to Warkaris included in the list of plan of action prepared by the Government. Anti-superstitions act should not be passed as it is against Hindu Dharma. Act banning cow-slaughter should be implemented. These and other demands are to be approved by the Government.

Like Saint Eknath, ‘Kshatra-Dharma’ has to be followed now ! – Mahamandaleshwar Mahant Amrutdas Maharaj

Considering the attacks on Warkaris and their seats of worship, this Sampradaya now needs persons like Madanlal Dhingra and Bhagat Singh. ‘Kshatra-Dharma’ has to be followed by lighting a torch and keeping Saint Eknath as our ideal. ‘Dnyaneshwari and Tukaram Gaatha’ are like mother and father to us; they should not be denigrated.

How can one dare to burn ‘Gaatha’? – H. B. P. Bapu Maharaj Raokar

Black is in the name itself of ‘Black Panther’; therefore, they indulged in such black deed of burning ‘Gaatha’. How can these people dare to burn ‘Gaatha’ which is a seat of worship of millions of Warkaris? Why no action has yet been taken against the concerned? Rulers should realize that Warkaris are now awakened and they should not be provoked.

Why the Government is indifferent to those burning ‘Gaatha’? – H. B. P. Baburao Maharaj Wagh

Warkaris should not remain just Warkaris but should take baton in their hands. Will the Government show such apathy if ‘Quran’ was burnt? The Government needs to think about such matters.

Foil the ploy of passing anti-superstitions Act ! – Shri. Sunil Ghanavat

On one hand, the Government says that it would not pass anti-superstitions Bill without taking Wartakaris into confidence and on the other hand, it is hatching a plot to pass this Bill under pressurization of few heretic persons in this Assembly session. Everyone should note this ploy and foil it by opposing the Bill with all their might. If the Government and heretic persons are so concerned about offences committed in the name of superstitions, the Government and these heretics should see to it that the existing laws are implemented meticulously.

Time has come to destroy the evil ! – H. B. P. Dada Maharaj Chaturmasye

Saint Namdev Maharaj advocated ‘Kshatra-Dharma sadhana’ about 400 years ago. When existence of Dharma was in danger, Saint Eknath took sword in his hand. Warkaris should also now hold the ‘patakas’ upside down and use the wooden sticks for eliminating evil. Destruction of one anti-social element is equal to earning merit by performing one ‘Ashwamedha Yadnya’.

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism!

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly. "Yasya Trayastrinshad Devaa Ange Sarve Samaahitaa, Skamma Tam Bruhi Katamah Swideva Sah”. ~(Atharva Veda 10-7-13) Which means: with God’s influence, these thirty-three (supporting devta) sustain the world. In Brhadaranyaka Upanishad while discussing Brahman, Yajnavalkya is asked how many gods are there. He says that there are three hundred and three and three thousand and three gods. When the question is repeated? He says, thirty three. When the question is again repeated he says, six. Finally, after several repetitions he says ONE. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 1) The number 33 comes from the number of Vedic gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2...
