Corruption-tarred Congress has Rs 180-crore pre-election budget !

O Indians, please note that these 180 crore rupees, which corrupt UPA is going to spend on its so-called achievements is nothing but the taxpayers money. How you can allow your hard earned money to be spent on such improper manner by UPA Govt ? - Editor

It’s still more than eight months before India votes in the Lok Sabha poll, but the ruling Congress has already begin dole-out schemes to woo voters. According to a report published in India Today, the Congress has planned to invest a whopping Rs 180 crore in ad campaigns to be aired on television channels and printed advertisements to remind people of the achievements of the UPA Government in the past nine years of its rule.
The advertisements seem to be inspired by the NDA dispensation’s ‘India Shining’ campaign but the Congress leaders have rejected it saying that the ads are based on facts and the good works of the UPA Government.
The ad campaign would comprise of TV spots, short films, print ads and even the new media like web and caller tunes.
According to the report, as many as 18 short films have been created highlighting the successes of the UPA regime. Famous ad film maker and director of film Pareenita, Pradeep Sarkar, directed these short films. Noted lyricist and Member of Rajya Sabha, Javed Akhtar, has penned the catchtune -Meelon ham aa gaye, meelon hamen jaana hai (we’ve come a long way, but there’s much to be done yet). The jingle will also be developed into a caller tune for cell phones.
Congress will spend a whopping sum of Rs 35 crore in the first phase of campaign that will last for just 15 days and things will be planned based on the response.
This time the amount spent on advertising will be more than Rs 100 crore the Government spent in 2009 while over Rs 150 crore more than the budget of NDA regime for its India Shining campaign.

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism!

The concept of 33 koti devata in Hinduism: The Vedas refer to not 33 crore Devatas but 33 types (Koti in Sanskrit) of Devatas. They are explained in Shatpath Brahman and many other scriptures very clearly. "Yasya Trayastrinshad Devaa Ange Sarve Samaahitaa, Skamma Tam Bruhi Katamah Swideva Sah”. ~(Atharva Veda 10-7-13) Which means: with God’s influence, these thirty-three (supporting devta) sustain the world. In Brhadaranyaka Upanishad while discussing Brahman, Yajnavalkya is asked how many gods are there. He says that there are three hundred and three and three thousand and three gods. When the question is repeated? He says, thirty three. When the question is again repeated he says, six. Finally, after several repetitions he says ONE. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 1) The number 33 comes from the number of Vedic gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2
