Cricket is
not a Bharatiya game. Still, the young generation has gone wild after
this game, and as a result, many undesirable incidents take place in the
cricket. There are fights among players from opposing teams, the
players attack pedestrians since the game is played on streets, boys
play cricket after consuming alcoholic drinks, if any damage is caused
to houses due to cricket ball, the players will attack the landlord
himself when he argues with them. Thus, many such incidents of rowdyism
take place instead of enjoying the game. That is why Sanatan is always
against this game. However, now, the incidents of gambling are observed
in this game, and as a result, entire Nation is experiencing feelings of
deep shame ! – Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’
New Delhi : The
incidents of spot fixing in the cricket matches sponsored by Indian
Premier League have come to the light recently. Spot fixing means
pre-planning the number of runs which will be conceded in a single over.
In this matter, Dehali police have arrested 3 players Sreesanth, Ankit
Chavan, and Ajit Chandaliya from Rajasthan Royal team. Apart from this, 7
bookies have also been arrested. Out of these, 3 bookies belong to New
Dehali. The police have come to the conclusion that these bookies are in
close contact with Dawood gang from Pakistan. (When
cricket forms a nexus with the criminal world, the organisers of the
game and those who run after the game are only anti-national ! - Editor,

In this case, some more players are also likely to be arrested !
The police had kept Sreesanth and 2
other players under observation since last week. Spot fixing occurred in
a match played between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians teams in
Mumbai on 15th May and in an earlier match played between Kings Eleven
and Rajasthan Royals in Mohali on 9th May. As per police version the
players received Rupees 60 lakhs for each over they bowled. Total amount
of 1 Crore and 20 Lakh Rupees exchanged hands in this matter. Players
were asked to concede more than 14 runs in these overs, which they did.
As per the informed sources, inquiry
will also be initiated against two team owners in this case. On the
other hand, Rajasthan Royal team management reacted, “Although the
arrested players belong to the Rajasthan Royals team, the team
management is not at all involved in the spot fixing. We are discussing
this matter with the Cricket Control Board. We will fully cooperate with
investigation agencies”.
