The Value of Money!
Here is a glimpse of the world/people who are sharing the same space but are still worlds apart. The difference in priorities are literally opposite poles of this earth. See just what a mere Rs.500 ($9) could mean to different people.
For people who don't understand Hindi, I have briefly translated the comment of each person as they come on this video clip :
1. If I get Rs. 500 then I will go to water park and enjoy.
2. Will shop and buy something for myself
3. Will eat, drink and enjoy
4. Maybe will buy something for my girlfriend
5. Movie and dinner
Another side of the story:
-------------------------------------
1. Will invest in my business
2. Will pay for my school fees
3. Will go eat good food and invest
4. Wife is sick, will spend on her treatment
5. I will get a Rickshaw (handicap, hand driven) for myself because it is hard to crawl (yes, crawl) on road and my knees etc get wounded.
6. Will eat and buy shoes
---------------
The value of money is the same on the currency note but it means totally different to each and every one of us.
The money spent on a cup of coffee could mean one time's meal for someone. Please spend, consume and buy wisely.
P.S. and I don't mean you go and donate to "WORLD VISION" or its kind of charities. If you look carefully there are plenty of opportunities at every corner waiting for you to lend a hand locally.
